    Modern and comfortable with in a great location

    The Bridget is in a great location near the intersection of rue des Pyrenees and rue de Menilmontant, high up above the city. It's a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro stop (Gambetta, Menilmontant, or Jourdain) and near lots of excellent bars and restaurants. Buzzy and lively.We had room 603 which is the quadruple on the top floor with the view of the Eiffel Tower - it is a lovely room, airy, light, spacious, and with the Eiffel Tower, as promised, twinkling away in the distance. You are woken in the morning by the sound of the bin lorries and the smell of croissants (I'm not sure how they achieve this, it may be accidental but it's very nice). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom worked beautifully.There are a few drawbacks; the staff are courteous rather than friendly, they don't always answer simple email queries in advance (is there a bath?), the lift takes one person at a time, and be aware that if you ask to leave your luggage for a few hours before check-in / after check-out it sits in full view of everyone on the floor of the lobby - no cupboard or locker, even the breakfast room in the basement would have been more secure. It looks a bit scruffy after all the trouble they obviously took on the smart entrance.Having said that, if you're after a modern, bright, comfortable base in a great part of town, go for the Bridget.

    I thought the staff was extremely rude, and they were entirely unreasonable when I asked for help with an issue. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    This hotel is nothing like some of the reviews state . It is far from the two nearest metro stations it is well removed from the popular attractions too . Though there are some nice shops in the area . The rooms look nothing like the pictures shown on here . Our room and the corridors are definitely in need of an upgrade . There was a hole in our curtain lots of marks on the walls and the room overall did not feel that clean ! Badly in need of a refresh. Though the bedding was clean but the single beds extremely narrow . The bathroom was fine with plenty hot water and clean towels . The windows facing the main road offer little or no soundproofing. The hotel staff are excellent helpful and friendly. The walls are thin too and we could hear someone snoring all night . Sadly in my opinion not good value for money in a city with many options for hotels . I would not stay again and did not feel it was good value for money .

    We loved everything about this hotel. It is charming, clean as can be, and has a great staff that all want to make you happy. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is a very nice array of good food. We will come back again and highly recommend this hotel to everyone else. The neighborhood is walkable to good restaurants and stores.

    This was such a beautiful place to stay!! Very cozy with Xmas tree!! I could not find Nov/23. I will come back! Staff was great.
