We stayed for 3 nigths and our suite room was big enough for confortable. The location of the hotel is exellent. The breakfast salon was on street view and very cozyThe staff was very helpfull and freindlyThey are very kind on solving the issues we asked for. Thanks to manager and Georgia on front desk for all their help and kindness.

    Tea Room at Claridge

    rating29 Oct 2025

This review is for the Tea Room - Claridge Lounge at the hotel Claridge. Not the hotel itself. The intimate tea room serves smaller dishes during daytime (up to 7 pm). So we had a lunch here after visiting Grand Palais (a 10 min walk). As said, intimate and quite elegant place where you can have a smaller lunch dish in a quiet and relaxed environment.Fine linen on the table and kind and polite staff.Food is nothing special, but satisfying for a lunch break.

Poor Quality Hotel with bad staff & a worse manager in a very good location. Avoid.

    rating25 Sept 2025

A very low quality hotel surrounded by far more expensive hotels. Its only good point is its & very good location, which is what most of its review score is based on.Bad PointsHad emailed the hotel on August 22nd, so prior to our arrival to request a higher floor. This request was ignored by the hotel. We should've realised right then the staff, in particular the manager, were going to be useless & cancelled. However, we didn't, but regretted it.Very poor soundproofing in our room - number 17 - may as well slept in the street. Outside, it is extremely noisy. There are a few bars & restaurants that stay open late. The noise re-starts about 6AM with deliveries to the restaurants. So if want to sleep & rest - you probably won't get much here.Outside on the landing the light stays on all night. So we had a light around the door all night. This cannot be turned off. See photos. Why hasn't the hotel invested in PIR lighting?Inside the room, there was a bathroom with a window. That window had bright lights on shining into our room all night. See photos. There was also a heat issue in the bathroom. So it got very hot inside the bathroom. So we had 3 terrible nights at this hotel. We did complain after 2 nights. We was told housekeeping would sort it out - they didn't. Nobody did. Like our email request prior to our stay, as stated above, it was ignored. We was also told, at one point, to keep the bathroom door open to prevent it getting so hot inside the bathroom. How ridiculous. If we had done that - even more light would be projected into our room & the air conditioning, already loud & not very good anyway, would keep us awake. The level of stupidly at this hotel defies belief. After our 3rd night we was moved to a different room. This room was OK. But it emphasised how terrible our original room was.We believe the hotel staff knew our room had problems & put us there deliberately & hoped we did not complain. But we did. The hotel offered us a 12.5% refund. Comedians. We got about 45% back from Expedia.12.5% of about £1500. Unreal. Just shows the contempt & the patronising attitude of the manager which is, in turn, transmitted to the rest of the staff. We'd have preferred to pay 100% for a good room & excellent holiday.Three sleepless night effectively ruined our holiday. The hotel did not care one iota.Breakfast is nothing special. The hot breakfast etc was cold every day. I had to ask them heat up mine in their microwave. I have been staying in hotels for 35 years & don't recall having to do this before.Breakfast is from 7AM to 11AM. At 10AM there was no bacon. I asked the staff how long it would be. They said as it is 10AM & breakfast is nearly over & I should eat the sausages & eggs which are left 🙄. Unreal attitude. All stemming from the manager, no doubt. So told them I would like some bacon. She, the staff member, said OK she would make some for me.I sat & waited until 10:30AM thinking she'd bring it to me or at least tell me its been cooked & I can serve myself - as it a buffet. So at 10:30AM, I went to check to see what has happened to the bacon & to my suprise the bacon was there, in the server, & it was now cold. They didn't even bother to tell me it was there. The member of staff I had asked to cook the bacon seems a very vindictive person.Other than the cereal, breakfast was an extremely poor experience. Further, the breakfast room is very narrow. Hardly room to swing a cat. People are constantly needing to get pass & getting each other's way. Its a horrible experience. Plus, there was no towels to hold the fresh bread. People were holding the loaves with their bare hands & cutting it. Disgusting. We couldn't eat that. Doesn't the hotel know nought about hygiene? The rooms decor is average. They look like something out of The Munster Its a 4* 🙄 but have stayed in better 3* hotels. The staff are not very friendly. Particularly the guy who checked us in.When we left they didnt bother to help the suitcases but they did with some guests - they seem to differentiate about something. There is no bar inside the hotel. But there is up the road. The staff tell you to go up the road. Good pointsLocation. Champs Elysee is 5 mins away. The river is at the end of road & you can see the Eiffel Tower. The Arc just around the corner. So location is excellent.Long/short - other than the location, everything is 3rd or 4th rate hotel or worse. This is a cheap hotel in a very good location. Better to stay in a better hotel in a worse location - Paris has an excellent transport system so no point staying here.Message to the manager - if you want to reply, fine, no problem, but do NOT refer to me by name again, as you did. If you do I will take legal action. You do NOT have my permission to share my personal details online. By doing so, once again you have demonstrated your arrogance & contempt of your guests.

    Very good

    rating04 Sept 2025

Hotel was lovely. The staff and breakfast was wonderful! Very conveniently located. The bathroom floor could have used a good scrubbing. The bathtub was high and no handy grab bar. The only one was too low. Also, needed a bath mat as it was slippery. All that was needed

    rating03 Sept 2025

Everything was really fine. Room not enormous but well equipped and welcoming, silent and with all services. Mattress was a bit hard for my taste but this is just a personal preference. Small but well arranged breakfast room with all that was needed. Hyper centric position.
