  Enjoyable stay in Paris

  We stayed at Hotel Cluney for 2 nights in March2026. It is excellently situated very near to the Paris metro with many bars, restaurants and other shops close by. Our room was fairly small and basic but was perfect for a short stay and suited our needs.If I had to be picky the shower may be difficult for someone with restricted mobility and the shower attachment didn’t have a bracket to hold it up.Also there wasn’t any tea or coffee making facilities. As previously mentioned in other reviews you have to carry your cases up one flight of stairs to get to reception , this wasn’t an issue for us as we only had small cases. We would be happy to stay there again if visiting Paris on another occasion.

  Excellent value hotel in a central location

  We loved our stay in spite of the small room and having to carry our luggage one floor up to the reception area. There is an elevator to get to the rooms. The excellent value price included breakfast. From the hotel, it was a less than 10 minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral. We were also walking distance from a lot of attractions and the metro stop is in the same block. When we visit Paris again, we will not hesitate to stay here again.

  Lovely little hotel for couples

  Excellent little hotel in a very central location in Paris. The Notre Dame is just around the corner, along with a small supermarket and many places to eat and drink. Clothing shops and other locations are also very close by.The hotel is staffed 24/7 which put us at ease - and all staff we encountered spoke excellent English. It is small and boutiquey - and you are met with a small spiral staircase as soon as you enter (be mindful of this if carrying lots of large luggage. There is a very small lift from the reception and up). The room was clean and well kept - although a little more attention to detail wouldn’t have gone a miss. There was dust gathering in the corners and shelves, and especially in the bathroom - however our room was small and I can appreciate it may get dusty quicker.The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, robes, and some toiletries. The bed was made for us each day, and fresh towels provided.The room was very cosy, both temperature and size. For couples, you wouldn’t need anything bigger, but for a family I would make sure to request a larger room (if available). There was a small heater and air conditioning available - as well as being able to open the window for some cool air.The room had a TV which was enjoyable in the evenings.We walked comfortably to all the tourist locations. The Eiffel Tower, for example, was about an hour walk away from the hotel. But many other destinations were located much closer.The hotel is located right by a busy road so there is a bit of traffic noise and voices from pedestrians - alongside some noise from other guests within the hotel. I personally enjoy the sound of traffic but keep this in mind when booking. I couldn’t recommend this hotel to couples enough. Well priced and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay whilst in Paris for New Year’s Eve 2025.

  A Great Hotel in the Heart of Paris

  This is a centrally located boutique hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter near pretty much everything. I was particularly take with the charming and unique room. I also had one of the best cups of coffee of the year.

  Disappointing stay in Paris

  Booked this Hotel before an extended holiday in Europe with myself, wife and two friends. The web site photos and description was vague and a little misleading. The hotel entrance is extremely small and difficult to locate. The reception was on the first floor with access via a very narrow spiral staircase, totally inappropriate for any luggage larger than “carry on”. Struggled with 4 large suitcases to get to the first floor. No assistance from any staff. You could describe the whole hotel as “tiny”. Small reception, small Elevator, small corridors and small rooms. Terrible air conditioning, the room wasn’t much bigger than the double bed, needed to sleep with the windows open for air. Location was very good, that’s it, although we were above a busy restaurant area with loud street noise to all hours of the morning. This hotel needs to install some sort of luggage lift or elevator to assist customers with luggage to the first floor reception. Staff were indifferent to this plight. Don’t believe the web site description as it’s quite tainted. Overall we were disappointed!
