    A hotel that delivers on its promise

    Once you get beyond the expected basics like a clean and comfortable room, a good location and high standards of decor plus a reasonable (for central Paris) price, you appreciate the things like pleasant and friendly staff who are clearly pleased and determined to help you enjoy your visit to Paris. The Hotel Crayon really delivers here, and I would unhesitatingly recommend it.

    Lovely reasonably priced hotel, representing good value for money for such a central location. It is fairly central and walkable to many of the great Parisian tourist hot spots. The metro is a few mins walk away for those wanting to use public transportation Room size perfectly adequate for our 3 night stay. Our room was on 5th floor. It was clean and had a great bathroom with shower. Air conditioning excellent and much needed. Small lift available or stairs. Breakfast available at extra cost. We didn’t use this service, instead having a lovely breakfast at Maison Fondee Cafe Brasserie nearby. Lots of choices for dinner nearby including 2 great restaurants that catered to our vegetarian diet. Mannie was solely vegan and vegetarian and Ismail offering great Indian/Lebanese food with nice vegetarian and vegan choices. Reception staff at Hotel Crayon friendly and helpful and spoke good English too! Would have no hesitation in recommending

    Avoid for health reasons. They deny mold over and over

    Moldy. Possible illness in hospital 8 days now . Moldy mess. I am not sure if that is how I wound up in the hospital but I was in the ICU for four days and I've never had anything like this And I'm telling you that room Reeks of mold And they've been told that over and over and over Please read their reviews on Google Please read them I urge you to read them

    Great hotel in a quiet location. Easy checkbin and friendly and helpful staff. Offered free hot drinks and filtered water. Nice italian restaurant across the street and cafés nearby. Close to metro as well. Room was small, but had everything we needed. Room was clean with a comfy bed.

    Real estate in Paris is expensive, so rooms at a reasonably priced hotel near the Louvre, Palais Royal and transportation are going to be small, but the shower was roomy, the noise was minimal, there was an elevator (which you don't always think of until you need to carry a suitcase), and luggage storage.
