Location

This historic hotel is located centrally in the Faubourg Saint-Honoré and is around 100 m from the Champs-Élysées. Directly in front of the hotel guests will find a range of shopping facilities, restaurants and bars. Public transport departs from stops in the immediate vicinity (20 m, metro stations Concorde and Madeleine). Paris - Orly airport can be reached in 45 min by making use of public transport (25 km) and the Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport can be reached within around 1 hour (35 km).

Facility

3 suites, 50 single rooms and 68 double rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock.     Stay here if you want rude staff and a bad night sleep! I stayed here with my husband the night before the marathon and it was extremely noisy with people in the hotel and out on the street. We arrived and had to wait 45 mins for our room we asked three times and the lady on reception told me to ‘shh’. There was three women on reception and they kept saying they went to check the room and never told us it was ready u til they came back ignored us for 10 mins my husband went to ask and they gave us the keys. If we hadn’t asked we’d still be there now. The facilities are very outdated. You can hear everything going on in the room next too you. The location is pretty good for shopping and site seeing. The price of this hotel is astronomical for what you get, I’m leaving tired and annoyed and couldn’t raise with with any staff as they were all so rude. As someone who frequents Paris regularly- stay elsewhere!!

    First of all the hotel is on a great area!!it’s a bit old but if they will renew it , it will be for sure 5 star hotel!!Great Room with great View!!!The guys at the reception are very helpful!!we arrived at the hotel and Aviva the housekeeping manager told us that our room will be ready in 5 minutes.Our room was ready in 3 minutes. AVIVA is an amazing person she is professional and she knows how to welcome guests. A HUGE BRAVO TO AVIVA and the team of the hotel!!Room is great, ,clean and with an amazing view!!We will be back for sure !!!! Ignore the reviews in booking !! I am working also in a 5 star hotel in Athens and for sure most of the bad reviews in booking are not true !!!Thank you Thank you !!!Stefanos Zambelis

    Heating was on the whole night. We couldn't switch it off. We were boiling. Room was cramped. Not a 4* - more like a budget room

    The Paris version of Fawlty Towers

    The Paris version of Fawlty Towers - but without the charming staff. Booked and paid for a room with a balcony and view of the Eiffel Tower many months ahead, only to be put in a room with a view of the backyard and with no balcony for three nights. They blamed it on a a software problem that made them overbook our room, but would not give a refund because we booked it via hotels.com, or move us to the correct room. If you want entertainment, just sit a little while in the poor excuse of a lobby that smells of sewage and listen to all the customers complaints - they are quite a few!

    I have booked a room for 2 at 8th September and was told check in would be at 2pm. When I arrived from my flight from London at 4 and was rudely greeted by reception staff. When made to made an additional payment on top of the room I had already pre booked, I was told the room would be ready in 1 hour. I had a lovely coffee at a local cafe where the server agreed with my frustration given the area the hotel was in, someone claiming to be of a high standard and price should have available rooms on time. When I arrived back after the hour, new reception staff called our room and told us the room was still not ready and they had no idea when it would be available. What am I meant to do with all my luggage and reservations pre booked that I can’t get ready for? Not a single ounce of apology or anything offered complimentary.
