Good experience and satisfaction at the Hotel de la Seine.

    rating29 Mar 2025

Excellent hotel, very good value for money. Balcony overlooking the Seine , with the passage of the houseboats . Quiet hotel and underground parking is a plus. As for the breakfast served in the room , it is very appreciable and hearty for 10 euros. Helpful staff .Very clean room , with a spacious Italian shower . We were not disappointed with our choice. It’s cute but has WiFi issues

    rating28 Jul 2024

Stayed here for 2 nights. The WiFi does not work in rooms that are not near the router, which is across from the front desk. The staff are kind and switched me to 2 different rooms. The location is a little isolated as there is not much food options around. The RER is about a 5-6 min walk through a quiet neighborhood.

Average hotel.. ok for the price

    rating20 Sept 2018

For a couple the room size was ok.Bathroom is very small and water spills from the shower to the other areas. Also the way in and out of the shower is blocked by the washbasin so it is very inconvenient. There are no hooks or anything in the bathroom so again very inconvenient especially if you want to dress inside the bathroom. Also seems to have no good ventilation.Breakfast was an additional charge of 8€ but it felt worth it to me.Somethings that the hotel really lacks is ensuring you have everything you need. We had no shampoo/body wash etc in the bathroom. Seems like the rooms aren’t stalked with the basic necessities needed for the stay. There wasn’t a kettle to make tea in the room. For every little thing we had to go to the front desk to ask for it since they do not have any phones in the room. One thing that really ticked us off badly:After we returned from our day out in Paris at around 10 pm, we found our room door wide open. The cleaner left it wide open for god knows how many hours. When we asked the reception about the same he had no clue why it was this way but just that the cleaners forgot that’s it. This situation didn’t make us feel very comfortable.

    Best hotel I've ever stayed!

    rating06 May 2017

The room wasn't big, but it had everything we needed. It was very comfortable, clean, and the atmosphere inside the hotel and its restaurant was very nice (modern). What truly set this place apart was the staff. Everyone was extremely kind and very helpful. It was a real pleasure. Additionally, the restaurant downstairs was wonderful; a bit pricey, but it had absolutely delicious food. Overall, the stay wasn't expensive. It's not in Paris, but only a 20 minute train ride from it. The town is cozy and quiet. I will definitely be returning.

    Short stay by the Seine

    rating17 Mar 2017

This should be a lovely little hotel due to it's position right on the banks of the Seine, however it falls far short of this. We were on a business trip so the fact that the hotel is right next to a busy bridge didn't bother us too much as we were not there to take in the sights. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. However, beyond staff taking your money when you check in we didn't find them much more helpful than that. I think this may be down to inexperience in this business rather than being deliberately unhelpful.Breakfast was the most bizarre experience of all. I have always stayed in hotels where the breakfast is buffet style and you choose what you want. This hotel requires you to choose want you want for breakfast the day before! The choice is not great and they have one person to attend to you in the restaurant. This wasn't a terrible experience, but not one of my best in Paris (or surrounds). We will not be returning.
