  Excellent Family-Friendly Stay in a Phenomenal Location

  Our family of four had a truly enjoyable stay at this hotel. From start to finish, everything was smooth and comfortable—just what you hope for when traveling with young children.Check-in was easy and accommodating, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away.The adjoining rooms were convenient, quaint, clean, and just the right size for our family. The beds were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing—perfect after a busy days of exploring. Everything we needed was provided, and we felt right at home, very clean! But what really made this hotel stand out was the location. We were within walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks, train, and key attractions. It made getting around with two kids so much easier, and we really felt like we were in the heart of everything.Overall, this was a fantastic choice for our family stay—comfortable, convenient, and welcoming.   Very nice Hotel in 7th Arrondissement (Eiffel Tower)

  Very nice hotel. Rooms are a bit cramped but if all you are doing is sleeping there then its fine. Excellent location for the Eiffel Tower but a bit distant from many other Paris Attractions. Metro lines are not too far off and easily walkable and Taxis can be found in abundance one block over. The staff was always helpful with our needs. Plenty of good restaurants/boulangeries in the neighborhood as well as a little market down the street. Rooms did have AC which was a godsend in August heat.   Cheap Hotel Close to the Eiffel Tower

  This is a nice little hotel close to the Eiffel Tower (about 15 minutes walk away) and about the same distance from the Metro. The room was nice and quiet although the decor was slightly dated. The one major issue I faced was that the receptionist didn't speak any English and communicated only in French. This really detracts from every other hotel I've stayed in in Paris where the receptionist speaks even basic English. The hotel is in a nice, quiet street though with a convenience store at the top of the street for basic food and drink (including alcohol).

  We were scammed by the hotel clerk!

  On Wednesday evening of our four night stay, we asked the hotel clerk if he would arrange for a taxi in the morning to take us to the airport for our flight home. He did so, even calling our room a few minutes later to confirm that our taxi would be there at 7:55 in the morning. We got downstairs a bit early on Thursday to check out after which the hotel clerk, the same from the evening before, told us, "Your ride is here." As we got into the taxi, I noted that I had seen the driver delivering a cup of coffee to the hotel clerk when we entered the lobby, but thought no more of it. It was only when we were about a half mile down the road that I realized that our "taxi" did not have a meter attached to the dash and recalled that it had lacked taxi signage on the roof. We were not in a taxi! At the airport he pulled into the secluded parking area where rental cars are dropped off. That's when he told us we owed him 90 Euro. We had paid an official taxi driver 62 Euro on a traffic-jammed Sunday to take us from the airport to our hotel, so we knew that this was extortion. My husband threw a 50 Euro bill into the man's trunk as he grabbed for my luggage. Luckily, we were able to run into the airport lobby and quickly found a crowded elevator. My husband managed to prevent the man from getting into the elevator with us and the other astonished people. It was quite a scare!I have written to Rick Steves to remove this hotel from its list of recommended hotels. I would not have stayed here without his recommendation and I would never have gotten into an unmarked vehicle if I had not trusted the hotel clerk to arrange for a legitimate taxi pickup. We were scammed by our hotel clerk and his driver friend!

  Very nice hotel

  Centrally located in the 7th arrondi ssment on historical Exposition street near charming Saint Dominique street full of restos and bakerys. Near the Eiffel tower and lovely Cler street and also other museums .Also very close to several cafes. Very clean rooms with daily cleaning and linen service. Rooms are small but this is basically the Paris hotel size. Rooms and toilets have been modernized. Beds were comfortable. We had room 301 in the back and it was very quiet. They dont have breakfast but there are cafes literally a 3 minute walk away. Hotel is 5 floors with an elevator. Ask for Kamal who is very kind and speaks English.
