    A pleasant stay

    rating09 Dec 2025

Positives:Quite a good location near to Metro stations & train station so good for travelling around. Shops & food places nearby. Beds were comfy. Has a lift which is handy if you're on a higher floor. Breakfast was served until 11am.Negatives: Room was quite small & had a few damp issues, but I suppose it's an old building. Not a massive choice of hot food at breakfast. Ubers didn't seem to want to pick up at the hotel, so we had to go down the street to order one.

    Awful

AWFUL. They are only after your money and refuse any sort of decent communication. Zero empathy, and won’t even talk to the booking agent I used to book. Avoid.

I Have been sending email on the refund of the hotel deposit, since I arrived back in my country but no reply from emails despite many follow up's. They said to wait for a week and its almost 3 weeks, no refund reflected on my account. ;(

Room Flooded by Ceiling Leak – Hotel Took Action Too Late

    rating04 May 2025

We stayed at Hôtel de l’Aqueduc in Paris and were extremely disappointed by what happened. When we returned to our room (505), we discovered a serious water leak from the ceiling. Water was dripping directly onto our belongings — including clothes, cosmetics, and a hair straightener — all of which were wet.The hotel did move us to a new room immediately, but only after we returned and found the damage ourselves. Had we not walked in when we did, the leak would have continued soaking our things. The room was clearly unfit for use, and no compensation or support was offered beyond the room change. We had to replace several items and deal with the stress of the incident during what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. If I could upload a video it would be ideal, you could see rain getting inside from the ceiling like there is no ceiling. We contacted the hotel and Booking.com requesting a refund, backed by photo and video evidence, but were refused because we no longer had the receipts for replacement items — even though the damage was obvious.I cannot recommend this hotel based on this experience. Issues like this should be handled with more responsibility and respect for guests.

    Good value for money

    rating08 Dec 2024

Good priceWe booked this hotel based on our budget for the weekend and from the reviews of hotels at this price point, and for what we paid we were happy with our stay. We would return, although we would do somethings differently. We booked a superior room, this was compact but comfortable. Importantly it was very clean and the beds were very comfortable - two important boxes ticked. In the room there was tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, a safe you can hire, and the shower powerful with plenty hot water - everything you need really. I didn’t see the standard rooms but I would book a superior room again if I returned. The hotel provided ear plugs but I didn’t find the noise too bad, during the night was fine but in the morning you could hear the trains but you’re in a city after all - there’s always noise.I knew about the security deposit/block beforehand so I was prepared for this. All of the staff working at the hotel were very nice, one evening they even let us borrow an umbrella for the rain. The only thing which isn’t great about the hotel is the area which it in. It’s a good location for the train station from the airport and there are two metro stations nearby so that’s good. Metro is cheap at €2:15 per single journey, so easy and cheap to get around. Walking around nearby during the day was fine, however when we arrived at midnight and had to walk from the train station it didn’t feel safe (two ladies). When we went out on the Saturday night we got the metro to the Bastille area, but when coming home we opted for a taxi to drop off at the door rather than another midnight walk (this was only €15).If returning this is what I’d do differently, the train from the airport was around €24 for two of us, where we then had the 10/15 mins walk, an uber back to the airport was €34 - so next time I’d get an Uber to the door. So essentially use taxis late at night otherwise location good for transport links and during the day.
