  Super comfortable and well located hotel.

  After my most recent stay at Hotel de Nell I'm adding this to my list of favorite stays in Paris.The location is great for walking to a ton of amazing restaurants as it in the 9th arrondissement, but on the border of the 2nd and 10th. It is on a quiet street with little noise other than some charming church bells which is to be expected in Paris. The vibe of the hotel is serene, from the breakfast room to the the very quiet lobby bar and especially in the somewhat Japanese influenced guest rooms. Soothing colors, luxe minimalism, nice fabrics abound.Breakfast was quite good; a mix of sweet and savory offerings and eggs made to order but not hot chafing dishes to make a full English breakfast. This is a small, thoughtful boutique hotel and doesn't cater to crowds and probably isn't the best choice for families with kids. For solo travel, romantic getaways and business travelers though this is a solid choice in a great location.

  Excellent location, perfect for exploring the city mostly on foot.Exceptionally warm and welcoming service, with thoughtful gestures for families and children.Friendly, attentive staff offering helpful local recommendations.Spacious, well-designed rooms that are both clean and very comfortable.Large, luxurious bathroom featuring a bathtub and a separate walk-in shower.Quiet and peaceful atmosphere despite being close to lively streets and many restaurants.

  Charming hotel

  The hotel is small but charming, the staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The bathroom is spacious but we had a dark bathroom, which in the evenings got really dark, and i could not see wellBreakfast was very limited and small, and I had expected better. Overall it was a nice stay.

  I wanted to like Hôtel de Nell, but it fell short in too many ways. My first room faced a noisy construction site. After requesting a move, I was given a room facing a church—nice view, but the bells rang every 30 minutes from 7am to 8pm.There was no in-room guide for how to operate anything, and worst of all, there was no hot water. I took two cold showers and couldn’t get a clear explanation from staff. I couldn’t even use the Japanese-style bath—one of the reasons I booked the room—because of the lack of hot water and the cracked, rotting wood around it.The towels looked old and dingy. The bed was fine, but not worth the $600 I paid for one night. The staff were young and well-meaning, but inexperienced. I didn’t even find the restaurant until the next morning. Breakfast was great, but that was the only highlight.The hotel tries for a sleek, upscale vibe with a Japanese touch but misses the mark on the basics. I feel it was more like a 3 star class hotel. I unfortunately checked out after one night and moved to another hotel that was exactly what I was looking for. So glad I did.   Absolutely outstanding hotel and service

  We went with 2 couples in April 2025 and stayed 5 nights. Every single thing in the hotel was amazing - rooms, comfort, breakfast but the best part about the hotel is the employees representing it - especially in the reception area. Every person was absolutely perfect in everything they did. will definitely stay there again on our next trip.
