    TERRIBLE PLACE.

    rating11 Apr 2025

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. COCKROACHES IN THE ROOMS???All their photos online bear no relation to the room you get. We had booked for 4 nights but left after the first night there. We seen cockroaches running along the skirting and on the walls. We had to pay £300 for another hotel in St Mande, which was fantastic. DON'T GO THERE.

There is a man that is very closed minded and aggressive talking to solo woman traveler

    rating25 Jul 2024

There is one guard that is extremely aggressive in how he talks, he is so closed minded the other hostess let me put 100 dollars in deposit untill I change to pay in euros and when I came back she was gone and this man was yelling at me for no reason saying he cannot take out the 100 extra bill for deposit that I left without even trying to understand the situation I travel solo and it’s extremely bad to have an aggressive behavior towards a solo woman, also I payed everyday the room for 2 people, so I had a friend visit me and then 2 days later my gay friend came upstairs with me and he didn’t let my friends come up because I had another man coming to my room before, they make me pay stay tax for 2 people but they don’t really let you or well this MAN is the one that says no, there was not ever another bad incident with the women hostess. But this man is bad, I was extending everyday for a week but I’m never coming back I felt so unsafe with this kind of behavior I am scared to come at night because this man is taking personal that I’m here. In Paris the city of love don’t come to this hotel if you a solo woman travelling in europe

    Good value with character

    rating09 Jun 2024

My family and I stayed for a long weekend. We had two rooms, a double and a twin. The rooms were clean but small. We had a balcony view of the street and could see the Eiffel Tower! The 24/7 reception were most helpful. There was a lift to the fifth floor where we stayed. Breakfast was great, but we I was disappointed that there were no fresh baguettes each day. The lighting in the room, was not good, one lamp had no globe and those that worked barely gave enough light to read by!

    Nightmare

    rating09 Mar 2024

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY IN THIS HOTELPLEASE READ ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING HERESo the first thing would be how dirty and old the hotel is, stairs are unsafe, 0 hygiene, molded walls, dirty stained towels, bugs and insects in the room, walls very thin they do not isolate sound nor smell nor anything. Cigarettes smell in the hallway.First day we arrive and they tell us there is no wifi, opposed to what their website/page mentions. They made me pay the City Tax, and then the same guy made my father pay it as well without telling him I had already paid it.No running hot water in all rooms, they suggested going to another "friend" hotel where they would let us shower. They fixed it on the next day.The whole room started swimming in water whenever the sink or shower were turned on.Both rooms' safe boxes do not lock. There is no phone in the rooms, no communication with the reception whatsoever. There is no card to let them know whether to clean or not to disturb. The cleaning lady entered the room when I was inside. She apologized but refused to leave before cleaning the bathroom and changing the towels, while I was in bed. We had told the reception not to enter the room, yet they did one more time and misplaced our belongings.AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, icing on the cake: on our final night, we arrive to the room and see they broke our locks, tried to break into our luggage. They broke the code lock, and then tried opening the lock where they luckily failed. We had to break the lock in order to open it. The creepy guy on the reception, who had previously made awkward comments to my young sister about robberies happening in the hotel, refused to call the police as nothing was stolen, all we can do is leave a review (same thing they said when checking out). Chubby man in a suit, not tall, brown skin, dark hair. Algerian origins as he informed us.Before leaving in the morning, the other guy that was on the reception (white skin, white hair) told us this has happened multiple times in the last few weeks, ever since that guy started working, and that the only cleaning lady they have has been working with them for the past 30 years, hence she wouldn't do such thing.A couple had 100 euros stolen last week, on the chubby guy's shift. Apparently the guy has no qualifications, but a relative of the owners, but he is "being watched".I do not wish such experiences on anyone. This hotel does not meet any of the measures and requirements, and needs to be investigated. Please do not go there.

    Hotel Horror

    rating04 Sept 2023

Stay away!!!!!HOTEL HORROR!!!!This hotel is in the middle of renovations and to walk up and down the stairs they have plastic and it smells. The stairs are very narrow. They have to remove the ladder and tools for you to be able to walk. The paint is still fresh and while holding onto the staircase the paints goes on your hands. The lift is so small it only holds 2 people if you’re lucky. The rooms are so tiny, it’s hard to open up your suitcase. There is no cupboard space, only a small open shelving unit. There is a desk with a chair but I had to take the chair out to make more room. There is no room to put toiletries. The top sheet of the bed had a cigarette burn and there are stains on the sheets. The tv is tiny and only in French. There is no air conditioner or heater in the room. Walls are so thin we could hear conversations in the next room when they were on the phone. The reception staff are not very friendly neither are the cleaning staff. No fridge or kettle, toaster NOTHING!!!! Internet is only available in the reception area but keeps dropping out. Breakfast is very plain and when we went to try it out there were no tables to sit so we had to go out to buy breakfast. I called days earlier for an early check In and arrived at hotel at 10 after a long flight but upon arrival rooms weren’t ready. They told us to come back at 12.30. Normal check in was 2pm. We decided might as well wait till 2 instead of paying for early check in just for an hour and a half. I wouldn’t even classify this hotel 2 stars, more like .05 cause it’s better than being on the streets.
