    You're paying for the location in the 16th arrondisment, which is safe and a brief walk from the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, shops, pharmacies and dozens of restaurants. Otherwise, I'm unsure how this hotel gets four stars. Paid $1,300 for a three-night stay in room 550. Queen bed was comfortable. Bathtub plug leaked. When you get in it's full, five minutes later you're sitting in a puddle.Towel warmer was broken. Washcloths are not provided, per the front desk.Charming bistro table on balcony looked great for photos... but with onlyone chair, we took turns drinking coffee outside in the mornings. An electric kettle was much appreciated; bottled water and instant coffee were replenished daily.Despite my terrible French, front desk employees were helpful, although with only one per shift, don't expect quick service. They were very kind about providing a bucket of ice each night.There are small steps in the entrance and off the lobby that are not marked. You will trip unless you pay attention.The minifridge (our welcome note said everything in it was free) kept contents barely below room temp. Wouldn't store milk or medicine in it. The elevator is terrifying--big enough for two slim passengers and a suitcase, and that's it.The room was cramped-- I realize European hotels are seldom as roomy as American hotels... but it was pretty tight with two adults, two suitcases and two carry-ons. The chambermaid was so sweet, ringing the doorbell each morning and asking when she could clean the room. We tipped her well.Pros: Safe area, great location with lots of historic architecture, free water, free minibar.Cons: Room is quite tight, basic amenities lacking. , Propriétaire at Hotel de Sevigne, responded to this review Dear client, Thank you for your feedback about the hotel. Please note that the second chair on the balcony were brocken before your arrival so we need to renovate it. Additionally, in your room, you have three chairs more. It was possible to bring one from the room to the balcony if you want. Also, in the room, we provide a small and a large towel per person that can be refill when you needed.Please note that the hotel will be renovated in one month and the elevator will be bigger.The room where you stayed in is 22m2, we also have deluxe room that are 30m2 if you prefer something bigger.Hope you enjoyed your stay.Have a good day.Wendy

    I visit to Paris for my Olympic businesses.Hotel locations are very good. I went some venues by walk.Staff of this hotel are very honest and friendly. I hope come agai next time.     Nice hotel located between the Tout Eiffel and the Arch of Triumph, with easy acces to the metro.The building is nice, the room was spacious and quite big. Bathroom ok.People at the reception was helpful.Just outside the hotel there's a lot of tipical restaurant.The elevator is only for 2 people, to improve.     Great location , easy walk to just about everting , staff are great , very friendly and very helpful !. Rooms are great , very comfortable and clean Cute little bar , with great coffee too .Perhaps the hotel could get a little quicker on the wifi speed but it’s Paris so who needs WiFi!     Comfortable room, large enough for a pull-out bed suitable for a young child. Neat and clean. A little bit of disrepair to the shower seal but nothing too troubling. Convenient location for l'Arc de Triomphe and Trocadero and metro to Tour Eiffel and other points.
