    Perfection apart from petit dejeuner

    rating12 Aug 2024

We have stayed at this charming hotel before and when obtaining last minute tickets for the Olympics, we were delighted that the hotel could accommodate us. The location is fabulous, 2/3 minute walk to the Champs De Elysees and close to lots of bars/restaurants. For us, the perfect location. Our room was a double privilege room, which was fabulous. Lovely and airy with a super comfortable bed, dressing gowns/slippers, safe, loads of storage space, 2 floor to sealing windows facing the bustling street, it did have a minibar, however it never reached anything like a cool temperature. The bathroom was luxurious, fabulous walk in shower, gorgeous shower gel, steam free mirror and lovely vanity area. We did have breakfast included. On our first morning we were given a tick sheet to complete with our choices which was a really good idea, covers any language barriers. However we didn’t realise that this would be our breakfast choices every day. It was then a bit of a struggle to get what we wanted each day and by the final day our breakfast tick sheet had more crossings than Piccadilly Circus. One ladies interpretation of compote was different to one of the other ladies and it was always a surprise as to what you would actually get. Each morning we came down to tables not being cleared which wasn’t a great experience, we soon found where the plates and cutlery were stored and laid the table ourselves. The food served was good, tasty and fresh, you were just never quite sure what you were going to get. Without exception, all the staff were lovely and we had a fabulous stay. I hate to take a star off, however breakfast was not a great experience, we 100% would not hesitate in recommending a stay here and this would be our Paris hotel of choice, however, we would not have breakfast.

    Disappointing

    rating13 Feb 2024

I booked this hotel based on the reviews but came back very confused as the service was poor. I had emailed the hotel twice in advance asking for a bottle of wine to be left in the room, this was finally acknowledged but never happened. On our first day at breakfast we were abruptly asked “what do you want” with no menu or explanation. One morning we asked for breakfast in bed which we booked the evening before. We were told 5 mins before it was due that we couldn’t have hot food in the room. Everyone mentions the front of desk experience but we never saw this. On a positive note the location was good and the beds and shower were lovely - but for the money, there were hundreds of other options that I wish I had chosen.

Clean & Comfortable. Great location, responsiveness, and customer service.

    rating30 Sept 2023

Rooms were on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable. The elevator is tiny; we used it to go up and stairs to come down. The front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating and the owner provided excellent customer service and was happy to share useful information with us (and teach us some useful French phrases). Arrival and check in: We had contacted them ahead of time to let them know we would be arriving in the morning, about 6 hours before official check-in time. Our room wasn't ready for approximately 3 hours after arrival, but they held our bags and gave us some tips on where to go in the area while we waited for our room and did get us in early which was appreciated. I'd rather wait for a really clean room than rush them, but that's me. We also hired a private driver from the airport to the hotel through the hotel - this process could have been a bit smoother; next time I would probably uber as it is much cheaper and we had trouble finding the driver at the airport, but it is nice to have that option and the hotel was extremely responsive when we had trouble locating the driver. The location is great. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance and two metro stops close by. We did not pay for the hotel breakfast, but found a great little bakery nearby (upon advice from the owner) which suited our needs perfectly for under 5 euros per couple.I would definitely stay there again for the location, clean and comfortable rooms, and their customer service.

4 night stay with family in central Paris

    rating31 Aug 2023

Family break to Paris with 2 teens. We stayed in connecting rooms - one double bed and a twin. Both rooms had a bath and/ or shower. Was pleasantly surprised; the room space was not enormous but bigger than expected. Very clean and comfortable. Nice decor. Air con worked well (thankfully). The room was quiet, and I slept well for the 4 night stay.Great location, about 5 minutes walk to the Champs Elysees. We walked as far as the Eiffel Tower (30 mins), but relied on Uber quite a lot with the weather being so hot. A few good cafe's and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk (my favourite was L'artoise, just opposite the hotel). Would stay here again.

The property is close to Metro and in a quiet area- The people at front desk (Gerard, Frederick and Ruben)were most helpful in contacting tour vendors when tickets for tours not received- clean rooms, comfy bed - small elevator-highly recommend
