    Great location

Charming hotel with an amazing location! The service was incredible and all of the staff was extremely friendly. We arrived early, and although our room wasn’t available yet, they did store our luggage while we explored the city. There were many restaurants and shops within walking distance On the day of our checkout the staff once again stored our luggage while we took a tour to Versailles. Highly recommend!

    Great stay!

    rating15 Feb 2026

This is our 18th trip to Paris and we’ve stayed in hotels across the city. The neighborhood of this hotel is lively and well peopled, with restaurants across the street. There is a metro entrance very close by (Chatelet). This hotel is facing a pedestrian walking area, not a street: no car honking can be heard. There are a couple of grocery stores very close by as well (for when you get tired of paying $4 for a can of Coke or need some toiletries). There is someone at the front desk 24/7. Everyone spoke great English and were very helpful, particularly Yasmine.Stayed for 7 days. First three were in a regular room then moved to the only penthouse suite (room 64) for the remainder. The regular room is compact in the way that most hotel rooms are in Paris. Everything worked well, the internet was fast. Bed was comfortable and the windows were modern (heard nothing going on outside). There is an elevator (not universal in Paris). Housekeeping came by daily. The penthouse was to die for. Sweeping views of the city. Huge panoramic windows facing the city (see pictures on TripAdvisor or Expedia). Easily the nicest hotel room we’ve had and not nearly the most expensive. Will definitely come back.

    Great Location!!!!! Old Sandpaper Towels

    rating30 Nov 2025

I love the location of this hotel. I'm a big jazz fan and there are 3 clubs a block from the hotel. I loved the room. The bed was comfortable. I will stay here again. I would have sent negative thoughts to the hotel instead of Tripadvisor but thier website doesn't show contact info. The towels are like sandpaper, sooo old. I know they want to keep using them since they have the hotel logo but they MUST be replaced with new SOFT towels. The carpet is obviously dirty in the spotsntred on the most like the entrance to the bathroon.Overall, I can live with the carpet but the towels simply MUST GO!!! (Yes, I asked for replacements and they were just as bad).

    Good Location, Decent Rooms

    rating15 Oct 2025

The location is great, walking distance to the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay and Notre Dame. The area is very busy and lively with lots of restaurants and bars. I had an interior room with 1 window that opened onto a dismal shaft for the emergency exit spiraling stairs. There was at least some natural light and air that came through from the top. I think there were a lot of complaints about the shower not having a door or curtain because there were some partial swinging glass doors that seemed like an afterthought. The way they were installed, any water dripped down onto the bathroom floor outside of the shower stall. The breakfast was nice--there were usually small sausages, eggs, beans, and either warm pancakes or crepes. There were also croissants, nice bread, yogurt and cereals. There wasn't a lot of fresh fruit, just some cups without much variety. The 1 elevator was the tiniest elevator I've ever seen. Just me and my carry-on suitcase almost filled it. The hotel is not large, though, so I didn't have a problem with waiting to use it when I needed to go up. I usually just walked down the stairs from the 4th floor. The bed was fairly comfortable and the room quiet so I did get a good night's sleep. If I had a room with windows at the front maybe I would have had a nicer experience, but it was fine since I mostly just needed a decent place to sleep.
