    Exactly what we hoped the hotel would be! A perfect base for exploring Paris. Quiet and comfortable and yet just a few minutes walk to many cafes and the metro. The staff were warm, welcoming and helpful 24hrs/day. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The courtyard is an added treat to sit and relax in.

    Amazing! We had such a lovely time here, the staff were so welcoming and carried our bags up and down the stairs. The location was perfect, the room was lovely and the amenities were great.

    An island of tranquility and easygoing grace

    A hidden gem in a wonderful off-the-beaten track part of Paris. We stayed for two weeks at the end of October. The garden was peaceful and sweet in autumn and we welcomed the absence of televisions in the rooms. In many ways the place doesn't feel like a hotel, in the most positive way. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly. On top of all that, I was thrilled, as a hardcore Joycean, to discover that the hotel is only a couple of doors away fro the place where James Joyce was living when he finished Ulysses! We will go back as soon as we can!

    Travelled with a friend to this delightful hotel. What a find, you would never guess that you were staying in Paris. Once through the large metal entrance, you find yourself in such a charming space. Check in was friendly and welcoming, the room, although basic, was clean and comfortable. Plenty of restaurants to choose within walking distance. Metro close by plus an assortment of shops. Would seriously consider staying here again.

    This hotel is quiet, a bit off the beaten path, and remarkable in all of the ways which count. The staff is highly competent and always helpful. The rooms and the courtyard are modern and cozy in a distinctly old-world setting. When we had a last-minute issue related to our departure the hotel staff intervened and resolved the very sticky matter (unrelated to the hotel) with the utmost skill and professionalism.
