  As a solo traveler this was the best experience I could of possibly ever had. The man who checked me in was so so polite offered assistance if I needed explanation on how the metro works, good spots for food and transport help ect. The room was so comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely too. I’m not one to usually write reviews but I cannot explain how good this hotel is. Thank you so much to all the staff especially the gentleman who checked me in (sorry I didn’t catch your name)

  Absolutely unacceptable experience — avoid this hotel at all costs.

  From the moment we checked in, the standards were appalling. We entered our room to find hairs and a used toothpick — a clear sign that basic cleanliness was ignored. When we raised this with reception, we were told to wait until after 10am for an assessment. No one followed up. No apology. No resolution.On our second night, housekeeping simply didn’t happen. We contacted the hotel via chat and were told by our travel agency that housekeeping “wasn’t available today.” Excuse me? We paid for two nights — that includes two cleanings. We even left the designated lanyard on the door requesting service. Still, nothing.When we tried to address these issues with the receptionist, we were met with rudeness and hostility. He began demanding city tax — despite the fact that we had already paid it upon check-in. We showed proof of payment, including our bank statement and the invoice clearly stating the charge was to be paid at the hotel. Yet he insisted, citing a “language barrier” as justification for ignoring the evidence. It felt like intimidation, not hospitality.To make matters worse, the hotel is still attempting to apply these charges even after we’ve proven payment. This is not just poor service/ do my room — it’s unethical.Do not stay here. The lack of cleanliness, disregard for basic guest services, and aggressive handling of payments make this one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever

  Hotel is quite small and it’s pretty close to the center All the days we spent walking around🤍The room for three people is on the upper floor and it’s cute and very clean🫶🏼But as I mentioned previously it’s quite small especially because it’s on the last floor- so if you are tall= be careful with bookings for a room for three🙈From bonuses: it has free croissants at the entrance🤭 HOTEL D'ESPAGNE, Service clients/Réception at Hotel D'Espagne, responded to this review Dear 429meerimm,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at Hotel d'Espagne!   Hidden Gem of Paris - Comfy Beds - Great Air-Conditioning

  Hôtel d'Espagne is truly a magnificent gem in Paris. The hotel is located in a very trendy area, surrounded by shops, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and clubs, making it central to all of Paris' sights. I particularly loved the hotel's location in a charming alley with other hotels. The service was outstanding, with front desk agents who are very knowledgeable. I had the best night's sleep in their incredibly comfortable beds. The highlight of my stay was the efficient air-conditioning. As an American in Paris for the Olympics, I appreciated having cold air-conditioning. Hôtel d'Espagne had everything I needed. I will definitely choose Hôtel d'Espagne when I visit Paris again.   Lovely little hotel

  Very comfy beds and very clean room. No sockets next to our bed and tv was not at the end of the bed but on the wall next to it which made it more difficult to watch. Also the air con seemed to be suck on 19 degrees so it was very hot at night. Very friendly staff who helped us when we we needed it and also a room to store suitcases in whilst we waited for check in and after we checked out. We would stay again.
