I am completely in shock, It is nothing like the pictures , in the photos it showed a new looking bathroom and claimed there were on suites where in reality it is a shared bathroom for the whole hotel floor. You have to pay to shower which is ridiculous when you have to pay for the hotel anyway. There is one socket in the whole room and no where near the bed. It is like staying in a granny’s house it is atrocious. The reviews on booking.com must be filtered because it is nothing like the reviews, would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

My husband has been coming to this hotel for about 30 years. It is a family hotel, run by the same family for four generations. We noticed improvements from 10 years ago, being able to reserve with an American credit card for example. There is also wifi in the rooms. It is quiet and quite well-located near rue Monge and rue Moufftard. We are older so this time we actually splurged for a room with a full bathroom! They do have cheaper rooms where you need to go down the hall or up or down stairs. The breakfast was good value for money with great croissants as well as bread, yoghert, juice, etc. for 10 euros per person. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Disaappointing hotel. Room clean but very cramped and shower room tiny. Experience redeemed only by staff who were uniformly friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Good location for Mouffetard Market and Left Bank generally, Wouldn't stay there again.

Don't even think about booking this hotel especially though Booking. Come They can careless what happens to you after you book though them.. We stayed 1 night out of 3 No TV and No coffee in room. No AC and it was very hot.Lots of rules The beds were terrible and they smell. They wanted us to leave the window open and let the bugs come in and they did. THEY EVEN CHARGED MY CC $123 for the deposit and didn't refund it!!!They are terrible crooks.

We stayed there for 8 nights. The price was right for the facilities/room etc. The hotel was a two minute walk from a metro station (Les Gobelins, Line 7). Was just off a square where there a few good bistros and restaurants (including mcdonalds). Friendly staffThe breakfast was a bit sparse - baguette, butter, some jams, juice, coffee, and cereals - even to keep one going till lunch, but one could have done with some cheeses!
