  Very nice hotel with amazing staff

  Very nice hotel in many ways.Firstly the welcome from all the staff was outstanding, every one I met was warm, friendly and helpful.The decor is really nice, the bedroom size was really good for Paris, loved the styling and the decor, the bathroom was really big, everything was top quality. The air conditioning worked great, it was over 30c and the room was cool, plus it was very quiet as well.Breakfast again was excellent quality, not the biggest selection but more than enough, I really enjoyed the breakfast and was well worth the extra cost.My only complaint was the lack of outside windows, I had room 1, the window overlooked a central shaft, same with the bathroom, so whilst it got some real light, it felt enclosed, this is a personal thing and not everybody would have an issue with it.I would definitely recommend staying here, and I will certainly stay again, but not in room 1, if I had stayed in a room real outside windows it would be 5* review for sure.   Great boutique hotel

  A quirky small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights and had the superior room which was small but functional and clean. Bathroom was nice and bed comfy. Breakfast cost 14 euros pp if booked on check in or 16 euros if booked later. Good range of breakfast items and quality food. Location wise the hotel has lots of bars/cafes nearby and is a good area to stay in. Thank you to all staff for a lovely visit and a surprise for me on my birthday!   Charming hotel close to Metro and boulangeries.

  I selected this hotel because it was near where friends were staying and I was a solo traveller. I only needed a place to sleep so the small room size was not an issue (the bed took up most of the floor space and there was not really a good place to put my suitcase other than the half of the bed I was not using). But for me, it was perfect. Well designed with charming decor and included everything I needed (closet with safe, enough outlets and light options. I loved the twinkle lights in the bathroom walls (how did they do that?). Stall shower! So much better than those monster bathtubs I had struggled to climb into in the other hotels on my travels in France! There was a small desk and chair. The neighborhood boasted two excellent boulangeries - Tapisserie and Gana. Close to the Metro Charonne and Voltaire stops . Plenty of restaurants within a block or two. My rate did not include breakfast so no comments on the hotel’s offering. I would stay there again as a solo.   Our second stay in this hotel. The location is perfect as it's in a lively area and within a walking distance from Le Marais for example (and several other sights), central but not too central. Metro is very close by. Rooms are small, but normal in Paris standards. This hotel has been able to utilize the space well offering functionality and fun details. Rooms are very clean and daily housekeeping works well.Very good service at the reception. Drinking water available. Was hoping to have a room with a street view, but maybe next time (as I'm sure we'll return).   Fine Hotel in a Fantastic Quarter

  My wife and I sent 5 nights at Exquis and enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was pleasant, the hotel clean and efficient, and the Rue Charonne quartier is fantastic. The hotel has a hip vibe, like the quartier, and the rooms, while modest in size, are well appointed and the showers are large and comfortable. There was a small problem with my payment transaction, which the staff diligently to resolve. We look forward to a return visit.
