  Booked this hotel via booking.com - tried to cancel but kept being fobbed off by hotel and booking.com

  We booked this hotel via the booking.com app but two weeks ago we found out we couldn’t go, logged onto our booking and contacted the hotel to cancel and was told that we should get a reply in 24 hours time - no reply - sent an email to hotel again asking for a waiver in the cancellation fee - we were booked to go in July - that’s a months notice - still no word from the hotel. Rang booking.com explained what we would like to do and the reason why we needed to cancel. They rang the hotel on our behalf but they did not get to speak to them. They asked us to call back in 24 hours time - which we did but still again no luck speaking to the hotel.We called booking.com again just now and they could not help us and just advised us to pay the 49 euro cancellation fee. Booking.com we’re no help to us.

  The picture are false. The rooms are dingy and dirty. There is no WiFi EVER!! the breakfast was just for namesake. The staff is arrogant and never help. The rooms are extremely congested and the bathroom is very very unhygienic. Never book this hotel, it was a disaster.

  Worst Hotel in Paris...DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

  I was there this week and I never felt so shocked with the hotels appearance and the drained so called hotel. The staff apologize with you, as the water in the shower is always room temperature. Breakfast is horrible, stairs and lift are filthy. parking for 18 hrs is 75 euros at the Alhambra parking in Rue De Malte. Not worth staying here except for the location, as room is too small and not even a space to place your clothes in a decent wardrobe.Towels are for small children, as for me they looked like a medium facecloth. I suggest you to find a better hotel, as you will be ruining your stay in Paris, like I did.

  Nice people, horrible room

  People on reception are really really nice, I've never before seen such nice people in Paris' Hotels. Helpful, touching, they definitely do their best. The location is brilliant. Everything is in the neighbourhood, but there are no usual swarms of tourists in sight. Unfortunately, here good things end. The hotel is quite old and desperately cries "renovation". The elevator is so tiny, you feel like in a coffin and needs for air once doors close. The room is tiny, the floor and linen are very clean, but the walls and doors are dirty and everything is pretty dusty. The bathroom is made probably for doll-sized people and my shower didn't work. There are no storage furniture in the room. There were no pillow on the bed and no blanket. So I've slept only under the sheet only and got cold the next day. The sound isolation is horrible too. Next time will definitely look for a hotel in the area, but this one just doesn't worth the money. All in all a miserable dirty whole with extremely nice personelle. Do avoid.

  Horrible experience!!Kids woke up with bedbugs in their bed, had to spend our only full day in Paris doing laundry with hot water to kill the bedbugs and ruined a lot of our best clothes for the rest of our trip in Europe, manager didn't even respond to our request for refund, broken showerhead, falling apart balcony, not very nice neighborhood, would not recommend at all, stay away, if we would have read all the bad reviews, we would have NEVER booked this hotel!!!
