There are better budget choices in Paris.

At reception, staff member was friendly and book-in was prompt and efficient. Arrived at our room quickly to find there weren’t enough pillows and no bin in the bedroom. The bin in the toilet wasnt’t sealed and didn’t even have bag inside. Pillow was provided after asking upon arrival back at the room. Unfortunately it had been been dumped on the centre of the bed rather than placed in its correct place as if it were a response for having the temerity to ask for an extra pillow! The tv was small and lacked a decent variety of channels. The internet speed was quite average but you have to sign up to be a member to use it for free. Signing up is free. Our booking included breakfast but coffee machine refills were not free during the day even though we had paid extra for breakfast. This has been an unique selling point of ibis hotels but paying €2.50 for coffee during the day is a bit of a let down and shows contempt for loyal customers.Breakfast is basic, consisting mostly of continental staples such as croissants., cheeses, hams, cereals. Scrambled eggs was provided as well as sausages. Some pastries disappointingly were not fresh. On the second day I was rudely asked if I was staying whilst awaiting a lift at the hotel by a hotel member. I had to give my room number and felt I was being treated as if I were not good enough to be there. This had a negative impact on my stay. Coupled with the small room, lack of basic facilities and road works outside, I would not recommend staying at this hotel for the time being.

    Poor experience and very expensive

    rating15 Apr 2025

Very poor experience. We arrived late at night to find that the twin room we had reserved was in fact a double which I was sharing with my 11 year old son. There was no apology and no explanation from the receptionist who completed check in in a stony silence for 10 mins. This in spite of the fact that I had completed check in online prior to arrival. Apparently the hotel was full so no opportunity to change rooms. When we got to the room on the 3rd floor (we were advised that the lift was temperamental and we could end up being stuck in it for an hour so we walked up) we found the smallest hotel room in Paris. We spent the stay moving our bags so that we could get to the bathroom/down the side of the bed/out of the room. The room was extremely hot and fitted with aircon which stopped us sleeping because it was so noisy. I used to use Ibis regularly since they were a reliable, low cost option. Increasingly I find neither of these things is true. We had two rooms for one night which cost €430. In the UK I opt for Premier Inn whenever I can. I will need to find an alternative chain on the continent.

Great place to stay for a few nights

A lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Great building with views over the Paris rooftops. Staff very friendly and accommodating. (They provided gluten free bread for my wife 😋. ) Great location right outside Gare du Nord too. Would definitely stay there again...

    Value for money accommodation

    rating27 Jun 2024

The hotel is situated at a very convenient location near the North Train station in Paris. The check in and out speed is satisfactory and the staff are always friendly. Free internet increases the satisfaction.Being a typical Ibis, you need to take your amenities and the other needs from the reception. The room is small but clean. The sleep comfort is fine even though I have stayed in a room beside the elevator.I suggest for business and short occasions.

Unclean - not worth what you pay

    rating03 Oct 2023

Room was dusty and unclean. Reception attendants were very unhelpful, even when asked for basics such as a do not disturb sign. Breakfast cutlery and plates, mugs were all dirty. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I've stayed in cleaner backpackers hostels.
