    Nice Hotel with Good Location

    rating31 Mar 2026

I stayed at this hotel at the end of March with my partner and had a really pleasant experience overall. The hotel itself is modern, well-presented, and feels very welcoming. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they’re perfectly comfortable for a short stay. The location is great, making it easy to get around and explore the area. Whether walking or using transport, everything felt very accessible. Daily cleaners came every day and provided fresh towels and tidied around. The reception is open 24 hours, as there was always someone available if needed. The tourist tax is paid after checkout, which was straightforward and not an issue — it came to around €5 per person per night, which seems fairly standard. In terms of getting around, I had read mixed reviews about using the metro, but traveling as a pair we found that using Uber worked out about the same cost-wise. For example, an Uber from the airport to the hotel was €36. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only downside for me was the TV: it only had French channels and wasn’t a smart TV, so after a long day of sightseeing, it would have been nice to relax with options. Overall, a great stay!!

Does not look anything like their website photos. Terrible tiny room. We did not stay as it was nothing like advertised.

Do not stay here. It is not at all like the photos. The room was nothing like advertised. The hallway was so cramped you could not walk with luggage beside you and the walls are paper thin. More like a hostel than a hotel.

Make sure you have proof of paying city tax - hotel tried to make us pay twice!

    rating27 Sept 2025

My main reason for wanting to leave a review is to warn other people who might stay here to ensure you get a receipt when you pay the city tax. My partner and I checked in on Wednesday with a receptionist who told us we could either pay the city enforced tourist tax there on check in or on check out (44 euros), to which we decided to pay there on the spot with card. Then early this morning we checked out with the night receptionist who asked us to pay the tax. We explained we had paid it on check in to which he very rudely gestured at our documents and said "there's no record of you paying here". We absolutely were not going to pay twice so we insisted we had, and luckily remembered my partner had left the receipt of card payment in the hotel room. They had to run back upstairs to retrieve the receipt to give to the receptionist. After which he didn't say a word to us, no apology whatsoever, or even at the bare minimum asking how our stay was etc, he just gestured we were done after trying to get us to pay twice. It's absolutely ridiculous we would have had to pay twice if we hadn't had the receipt and it is totally the hotel's responsibility to mark this correctly - we also couldn't believe how rude the receptionist was. Despite that, as we were leaving, my partner, still having basic manners, thanked him and told him to have a nice day to which he didn't even look up from his desk where he was watching personal videos on his phone blaringly. So if you choose to pay at the start like us, make sure you keep evidence for when they try rudely make you pay twice!Other than that, the staff was a real mixed bag as others have said. That male night receptionist left a real dampner on our stay and we couldn't believe how we had gotten treated, while other staff members we saw throughout the day would also be on their phones 24/7 and not acknowledge us whenever we walked by. The man who initially checked us in and the breakfast staff were friendly. In terms of the hotel, the rooms were very small, which we didn't personally mind as we were only there for a couple of days and they were cleaned daily which was nice. We also enjoyed the location which had lots of nice restaurants around and also incredibly close to a metro that you can take to go into more central Paris easily. We said we would probably have stayed again before our experience this morning but now after that unfortunately I don't think we will return.

    Central location/Disaster shower

    rating20 Sept 2025

Most importantly, the location is excellent. Directly across the street from the Jardin des Plantes, which is chock full of family friendly fun. The Sorbonne is right down the street as is thr metro station. The neighborhood has lots of options for dining and shopping. I got sick so I used the pharmacy a lot. It is also just a couple of blocks from the Seine and right down the quay from Notre Dame. Now, our room was small but comfortable enough. We had 2 windows (courtyard "view") and it's a good thing too because our AC broke on day 2 and, in spite of us reporting it (twice) no attempt was made to repair it. The bathroom was modern and somewhat functions (more hooks, please!) but the shower. Disaster. Not only was it absolutely brimming with moldy grout lines it only has a 3/4 glass enclosures so you're unable to 1. Turn on the water without getting scolded or frozen and 2. keep the bathroom floor dry. There was water damage to the bottom of the door already. Whatever designer talked them into this ought to be shot (figuratively). The mold, that's 100% gross and on them entirely.

Great location, comfortable stay, let down by staff

    rating23 Jul 2025

My friend and I recently stayed in Paris for a girls trip and overall had a decent experience. The hotel itself was nice, with a clean, well-sized room that offered everything we needed for a short break. The location was ideal, central, easy to find, and well connected to the main attractions.Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the staff. They were noticeably rude and unhelpful throughout our stay, which took away from what could have been a really enjoyable experience. If you’re not too bothered about service and just want a good base in a great area, this hotel does the job, but don’t expect a warm welcome.
