  DISGUSTING, COULDN'T STAY HERE AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME

  Absolutely disgraceful. I arrived in the room which STUNK of bleach and cleaning products. I had to leave the hotel (which I had booked for five nights) and they still charged me for the first night, despite the fact I couldn't even stay in the room and had to get an alternative hotel. I emailed and they refused to give me a refund. Information Hôtel Jeanne d'Arc, Propriétaire at Hotel Jeanne D'Arc, responded to this review Hello Sir,First of all, we are sorry for this inconvenience.However, we did everything we could to find a solution and respond positively to your request.After your arrival, you checked into your room and paid the full amount for the 5 days.30 minutes later, you reported to reception the smell of bleach in the bathroom, which you found unpleasant.We offered you another room of the same category, but you declined.As the hotel was fully booked, we offered you an upgrade for the following day.10 minutes later, you came downstairs with your luggage and requested a refund.We accepted the cancellation and refund for the next four nights but charged you for the first night, as clearly stated in the cancellation policy.However, we agreed to refund the first night if the room was re-let.Unfortunately, the room was not re-let as it was offered at the last minute. So, we were there for you and did everything we could to fulfill your request.We would be delighted to welcome you back for a future stay and, as a gesture of goodwill, we will offer you a discount and a free upgrade.Sincerely,The front desk

  An unforgettable stay and a life-saving help!

  I stayed at Hotel Jeanne d'Arc Le Marais with my family, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.The hotel is charming and located in a perfect spot, right in the heart of Le Marais but on a quiet street, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station. Our room was spacious (which is quite rare in Paris!) and, above all, very clean. Breakfast was excellent: even though there wasn't a huge variety, the quality was top-notch and it was the perfect start to our day.However, what truly makes this hotel special is the staff. During our trip, we faced a stressful situation when my mother lost her ID/documents. We were panicked and didn't know how we would manage to get back home, but the team was extraordinary and incredibly kind. They went above and beyond, making several phone calls on our behalf to help us navigate the situation and find a solution.A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and infinite kindness. If you are looking for a place in Paris where you can truly feel at home and well-cared for, this is the place to be!   Half term trip to take in Paris landmarks

  This hotel is well positioned in Le Marais district. We chose this hotel as it had a family room. Staff were welcoming and friendly and happy to help; special shout out to the young concierge who gave us great advice on how best to get to the Eiffel Tower from the hotel.You are right in the heart of cafe culture here with so many different cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Also walking distance to Notre Dam and the Louvre.The hotel is quite small but has a lift - only takes two at a a time but helpful when family room is on top floor.Breakfast is perfectly fine to set you up for a day’s sightseeing.Would definitely stay here again.
