  Small rooms but nice

  Rooms are very small but you can schedule a 45 minute session in the sauna which has a nice roomy shower. The staff is very friendly and I appreciated the room being serviced each day. There was a lot of construction noise which was distracting at times and we did not have a nice view in room 405. There is a small market across the street which was convenient. I’m not sure if I could’ve paid for an upgrade but maybe next time. Also there were bath robes in the sauna a big plus.   Lovely Hotel

  Lovely quiet hotel near St Lazare, so very handy if you are heading somewhere by train or shopping in Madeleine.Room was clean and lovely, albeit a little small. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and breakfast buffet was lovely. Thanks you hotel Le 12 we will be back.   The most expensive hotel room I’ve ever booked and possibly the worst

  As I tried to sleep in my tiny room with my feet hanging over the edge of the tiny bed in the 12 hotel in Paris last Saturday night, I tried to remember why I’d paid €650 (including Avios points) for this family room. In recent years, I’ve frequently stayed in a two star in the 13th arrondissement for work but I was arriving this time by train at Saint Lazare & my sons were with me so I splashed out for this four star, expecting a little bit of a treat. I couldn't have been more wrong. I know Paris hotels are small, I’ve stayed in more than 20 of them. But this was ridiculous & greedy on the part of the chain which runs this hotel. There was no space for a desk or anywhere to type or even a shelf to place toiletries, there was just room to squeeze around the bed. The adjoining room my son was in was even tighter and the double bed in there was the smallest I’d ever seen. I had clicked the option for twin beds but this didn’t transpire. There wasn’t even a wardrobe in either room, instead there was a tiny rail wedged in a corner which was the length of my hand. There was a luggage rack folded by the wall but no space to unfold it without completely blocking the space beside the bed.There was a heatwave in Paris last weekend & we wanted to take shelter in our rooms. But these rooms were so cloyingly claustrophobic, we just went out.I can’t understand all the positive reviews here.The only thing I can agree with is that every member of staff we met was excellent. They offered ti help at every Turn & apologised for the room but ultimately said they couldn’t move us as the hotel was fully booked. Before you go to book this hotel, remember that there are much better places in Paris which offer much better value. Regarding the rates, while it is true that the nightly rate was high during that weekend, it was in line with other 4 star hotels in the area with similar amenities. In any case, I do apologize again for not meeting your expectations. I am also sorry that our team was not able to provide another room, we were fully booked that night and if a larger room would have been available, we would have gladly proposed a switch.   Fantastic City Hotel

  A lovely hotel with an excellent location very close to Saint Lazare train and Metro station, yet in a relatively quiet street. Hotel was very clean and modern with a lovely stylish room with everything you would expect in a city hotel (tea, nespresso, mini bar etc. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet - we heard no noise at all from neighbours. Bathroom was well equipped with Rituals products. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We didn’t eat breakfast but it looked lovely with a good choice of continental and pastries. The reception staff were fantastic. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, courteous and very helpful. During our stay Susana was regularly on reception and she was excellent. A credit to the hotel. My first time in Paris and not the last. A fantastic experience from start to finish. We would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to friends and family.   Amazing stay in Saint Lazare Paris

  The room was clean and well organized; my son loved the Nespresso machine with a few capsules was amazing. All staff members are very friendly and helpful (Lounis was the best of the best!!!) except one staff member who seems to be a manager by his age gave us a dirty look when we entered the building. Overall, we enjoyed the stay at the Le 12 and we absolutely will stay here next time.
