    €81/night; Poor

    rating24 Sept 2016

Am torn between 'ok' and 'unpleasant'. Mainly 2 problems; the very, very bad odour coming from the basement toilets and the poor choice of breakfast.Everything else was 'what you pay for' - the room small, toilet/bath/shower ok, cleanliness ok, storage ok, bed hard but ok.Usually I look forward to a hearty and delicious breaky even in a budget hotel but this was all bread-based with yoghurt and tinned fruit thrown in. Staff were disengaged but polite. I can't bring myself to recommend it at all I'm afraid. Loved Eaubonne though!

Bare basic room with noise and ants

    rating16 May 2015

I wasn't expecting this to be much to begin with as I was landing in Paris late and wanted to stay the night outside so that I could get on the road early and not have to drive through Paris. The hotel was stripped down and basic. Staff pleasant. The room was extremely noisy as there were a lot of students staying in the hotel and they were all up ALL night. The walls were paper thin. When I woke up in the morning there were ants on the bedding and in the bathroom. I fled.

    Absolutely Awful

What an appalling stay! Reception closed at night. Little option of food at breakfast. Dirty bathroom. Would never use the bath! Shower head not working. Not enough electricity sockets in room. Graffiti on wall. Noisy during the night. Hotel says there's Wi-Fi but it doesn't work in lobby or room. Terrible service. Staff are ignorant and unhelpful. Don't come here!

    Just what you paid for...

Nothing special in this hotel...Really very small rooms but clean and decent. There were TV in the room, Double bed, small table with one chair and a small shelf with few hangers. No place for luggage. But it is OK for a short time stays. Small bathroom was also part of that small room. It looked nice and clean to me. The only thing that i really didn´t like were breakfast. Don´t get me wrong it was tasty and nice but....everything and I mean everything was sweet. The only thing that was not were baguettes. Nutella, jam, sweet bread, honey, juice, There was not a possibility of having something salty for breakfast. Otherwise, for that one night staying I spent there, it was nice. If you don´t want to pay much and want to have a decent accomodation, this is a place to go.

    Never again

Travelling with a group of 58 people from the Netherlands, we arrived at the hotel at 11 PM.The reception was closed, but it would be possible to enter with a code. However, the code didn't work. The phone number on the door wasn't answered and ended in a voicemail message. After contacting our travel agency, the manager showed up and reluctantly opened the door for us and handed out key cards. We received the card and could enter the room about 1 AM. Some other people had to be moved from their rooms twice and finally got some sleep around 2 AM. It felt almost as if we were not expected. In the morning, staff showed up, and provided "breakfast" for us. One slice of baguette per person only.. We had to beg for coffee and tea, we felt like we were a nuisance to the staff. It looked like they were panicking and not prepared for so many people, although we were announced days or weeks in advance. The next morning, breakfast was much better. Staff improved their behavior too. The hotel is noisy, chaotic, and has known better days. At night, some people suddenly were confronted with other guests, entering their rooms, although you could only get in with a key card. People rattling at your door because the got the wrong room number.Chasing a couple of Chinese out at 2 AM is not my idea of a good night's sleep .. There was a bath tub, but the plug was missing. Beds were tidy, the edge of the bathtub was damaged and moldy. Our room was situated in the back of the hotel, first floor. There was a flat roof leading to the emergency exit (stairs). The exit turned out to be an entrance at well, since it was possible for a man (unknown) to enter the roof and peep through our window, which scared the hell out of us when we opened the curtains at 7 AM and were confronted with this guy. Staff shrugged their shoulders, obviously it was no surprise to them. After updating it ourselves, the TV set started working, WiFi was not working very well to say the least. An electricity outlet was on one side of the room, one more on the side of the other bed would have been nice, in these laptop and smartphone age, it is not very convenient to take turns charging your devices, All in all, the room was clean, but small, and after the "peeping" accident, an overall feeling of being insecure forced us to close the window at night, which was not very good for the ventilation. In the morning, the guests were demanded to give their key card to the staff, which some people refused as they expected more trouble. In the end, a list of room numbers was made, and in the evening most people got their own room back. We kept the card to ourselves, resulting in a visit by the hotel manager around midnight, asking us if we had a key card. (How we managed to get in and find our beds without a key is a mystery of course). I wouldn't advice this hotel when you want to stay in it for more than one night. I took it with a smile and have a lot to talk about this holiday, but the place reminded me in a strange way of "Fawlty Towers"..
