  Very unwelcoming and uncomfortable experience

  We walked into the bar of this four-star hotel expecting a pleasant drink, but instead were made to feel completely unwelcome. As soon as we entered, my brother jokingly said “F me” because he got scared by the host who pretty much jumped our of nowhere, to which the concierge/front desk staff member replied, “I’d rather not.” An unnecessary and inappropriate comment.Despite the bar being completely empty, we were then asked twice if we had a reservation, in a very pushy manner. After we sat down, we were told that the area was “reserved,” even though there was not a single other customer in the bar.At that point, we decided to leave. A four-star hotel should offer professionalism and basic hospitality—this was the opposite. In the end, they lost three customers simply because of poor attitude and unnecessary gatekeeping. This is why you were asked this question upon arrival. Even when a space appears to be empty, some tables may be reserved for later in the evening. In order to ensure the comfort of expected customers, we sometimes have to reserve specific areas, even if the people concerned have not yet arrived.We sincerely regret that these details were not explained clearly and courteously enough during your visit.   Good location but overrated

  Over all it's an okay hotel, we did a 4-night stay and it was way too small for that. There is no space for suitcases/luggage, the toilet door/bathroom door is a bifold door and it just does not do the job. The hot water though was just horrific, there was only hot water in the mornings and in the evening it was lukewarm - which doesn't help when you are getting ready to head out for dinner after a day exploring. When we checked in we weren't told where breakfast was being served - noting it's a very small hotel. So we opted for in-room breakfast service - We left the breakfast in room sign on our door for our first morning with a 7.30 am time slot, and at 8.15 still nothing was delivered so we went out for breakfast instead and didn't use the facilities after that.Over all the location is great. But we've gotten better service in similar locations.   Good location; nicely decorated and well maintained

  The staff was very friendly and polite. The room was clean and well kept. Bed was very comfortable. The walk-in shower was large and had good pressure. The lobby and breakfast area was well appointed. Breakfast was very good. The host offered an American sized coffee each morning, which was much appreciated. The hotel is in a good location close to the Metro. Very pleased with our stay. Thank you to the staff.
