The location is ideal if you want to stay near the Eiffel Tower and Pont de l'Alma (train station). However, I was very disappointed. You get what you pay for, and always read the reviews! Foolishly, I did not read any. The hotel is quite run down. No lift, and the stairs seem quite dangerous (especially for this 70 year old). It really is more of a hostel than a hotel. The staff was pleasant, but I took extra precautions as a woman traveling alone as far as safety in the hotel. I was just there to sleep and shower, and for that it almost worked. No shampoo, only hand soap in the shower.

TERRIBLE. This hotel was absolutely not what I expected. The website looked cute, however when I arrived the place was completely run down (chipped paint, possibly black mold), dirty and not what I was expecting. The room I booked for 230eu looked liked like a low grade hostel. When I expressed my concerns, they offered me other rooms in the hotel, which did not meet my criteria as well. I didn't feel comfortable staying there. The place felt dirty, desolate and empty. **Checked out the minute I arrived. Meanwhile, I am experiencing no sleep from the flight and travel anxiety.. Luckily, my friend had the insight to book a hotel around the corner for the same price (her points worked there so she chose that instead of my original suggestion of Hotel Malar.) I was warm, clean and had updated bathrooms.Save your money and find a better location. There are better options around the corener.

Easy access to central locations in central Paris with small rooms and the street noice was very high during the night.

Terrible - Moldy, stained and in a state of disrepair

This is a dismal hotel if you can call it that. The hotel site pics are not reflective of what it actually looks like. I had 4 nights booked and checked out after the first night. It had a moldy smell, stains all over the walls, and we could hear the person in the room next to us snoring like they were right beside us. The door did not look safe either. Hotel front desk not helpful at all. Save your money. There are much better places to book for that price.

Overall poor. Rooms basic and not sound proof. Had to ask for a bath towel every day as only one was provided for two adults. Coffee sachets not replaced and despite asking repeatedly was not provided. Breakfast was basic but adequate. This is more of a hostel than a hotel.
