    Wonderful location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast buffet! It was hard to see the hotel because there was construction right next door. But lots of walkable locations and a safe area! Hotel was friendly, area was safe and it was pretty quiet at night

    For a city centre hotel this was very good - nice sized clean rooms, friendly courteous staff and a relaxed atmosphere.Breakfast was a highlight with a wide choice of options freshly prepared good quality and no time pressures - yes it can get very busy on the week ends but otherwise quite chilled.Nice open plan bar area and a great location to explore the sites of this great city.

    Not far from train station. Comfy bed . Bath had enamel patches and bathroom floor had long hairs on that were not mine.. shower shot out of holder continuously when in use.. quiet.

    A lottery with the staff, can be ok or just plain awful

    This is not a 4 star hotel. The rooms were ok and the location is great. On our arrival we were told at check-in that the restaurant was not open as it was Jan 1. I did see a large group of people dining there however. Perhaps it was staff and I would have understood as it was New Years Day but there was no explanation and reception offered none. We were told that there was no room service either but that there were plenty of options outside. We were tired from travelling and that was disappointing, You should advise guests of this in advance. We were also told that the restaurant would be open on 2 January. On 2 January we went to the restaurant and were totally ignored by staff who were laughing and joking in a room behind reception. I had seen one of those staff members taking a food order from someone else so I asked him if the restaurant was open and he said no. I told him that we had been told that it would be open that day and he just said no it wasn’t not and explained nothing and arrogantly fined me off. January is an ordinary work day. The staff at the restaurant seem to think they can open when they feel like it. The staff member I spoke had seen me waiting before and had ignored me and walked away. There is no consistency and in the case of Montparnase, no management evident. I did a review on the Accor site as requested by them and was not contacted by them and they did not respond on their site. They just don’t care.

    Very clean, smelled wonderful (can I buy that spray that was in the lobby?). Staff was wonderful, patiently letting me practice my French, at times. Only complaint, the restaurant was closed except for breakfast but there's so many places to eat within a few feet it was all good. Had to get used to the European showers. Most of us had a few floods.😊 Oh, and very close to the subway, but be prepared for stairs.
