  If you want to really experience Paris, go to Hotel Mistral in Montparnasse.

  Hotel Mistral exceeded our expectations! The staff treat you like family. The breakfast is so delicious, and the location is perfect if you want to have an authentic Paris experience. The Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame areas are filled with tourists. Montparnasse, where Hotel Mistral is located is "real" Paris. The best restaurants, bars, bakeries, and history! We walked around all the well-known neighborhoods in Paris–Le Maris, Montmartre, Saint Germain des Pres–all nice, but I would go back to Montparnasse. I loved Rue Daguerre; my favorite street in the one week I was in Paris.   Charming Breakfast Room Hostess

  The Hotel Mistral is my favorite hotel in Paris. It's a short walk from Montparnasse out the side door to Halls 1 and 2, they welcome me warmly and treat me very well. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. Many times they have held my luggage for me during the day and they always see me to the street which is very gracious. I especially like the breakfast room and look forward to seeing the charming hostess who lights up the room with her sweet personality.   Quality hotel with location that is closest to enjoying real Parisian life

  First of all Mistral is very clean & comfortable with a friendly and attentive staff. It is also a great value for medium to longer says. But it's the location that really shines. Most of the time I would not stay close to a major train station, but that rule SHOULD be ignored near Gare Montparnasse, since this is a safe business and residential area. We took complete advantage of nearby high-speed rail and Metro to get everywhere everyday. And every evening our stroll at RUE DAGUERRE plunged us into the local village-like atmosphere. The sidewalk cafe terraces, artisan shops, and neighborhood shopkeepers who’ve been in the area for decades, reveal a Paris that’s a bit more intimate and quiet.   A great hotel visit while in Paris

  We loved our six night stay at the Hotel Mistral. The quality was great for the price. The rooms are typically small as most Parisian hotels, but it was functional and we never felt cramped and had ample room. The bathrooms were clean, modern and nice. The showers were hot which was a bonus. The best thing about the stay is the staff - everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to several metro lines and bus routes, but the street itself that the hotel is located is not very busy and you will have no issues with noise. As most of our tours were in the morning, we did purchase the breakfast option and we found it to be pleasant. If you have more time there are several boulangeries nearby to grab breakfast from as well. If you need a taxi to the airport their front desk till arrange everything from a reputable company at the flat rate. We hope to return soon to the Hotel Mistral.
