    Superb Weekend in Paris. Boutique Hotel well worth a visit.

    Fantastic location. Hotel was clean and the room was an excellent standard. Staff were friendly and professional. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Great value for this boutique hotel. We walked everywhere from the hotel location. However the Metro is laterally round the corner! Loved it!     The staff are fantastic. The two gentlemen on reception could do enough for us, and clearly enjoy their jobs. Taking time to talk to us about our day.The Hotel is a few minutes walk for the Opera House, Printemps/Galleries Lafayette if you like your shopping.The hotel is quiet, peaceful, with spotlessly clean and maintained. The price paid was more than reasonable, for the quality and standard of hotel. Will definitely be staying there next trip.     While the hotel is ideally located, has good facilities and is clean they seem to play lose and fast with their bookings.We seperately booked 2 terasse rooms directly with them yet on arrival 'a booking mistake' had been made and neither room had a terasse. As 'they were full' a refund of eur120 was given. We left with tge feeling that they frequently oversell the expensive rooms and then deal with the fall out via small refunds if necessary.I wont say don't book but be prepared to not get the room paid for Direction Hotel Monsieur, Propriétaire at Hotel Monsieur & Spa, responded to this review Dear Guests,We thank you for your comment.We are nonetheless very surprised by your comment.Indeed, you had booked a triple suite, and we upgraded you to our largest quadruple suite (2 rooms and 2 bathrooms). Regarding your parents' room, it is true that you had booked a deluxe room with a terrace. However, you specified that you did not want a bathtub but a shower. And it so happens that all our deluxe rooms with a terrace all have a bathtub, which is why we assigned them a deluxe room to accommodate their request and ensure their comfort.We informed you of the situation, and your parents fully understood. However, we took care to reimburse you €120, which corresponds to the price difference between the two room categories. I personally informed your parents and greeted them upon their departure. They warmly thanked me for the attention I had shown them.We never "oversell the expensive rooms", we do respect our guests wishes. All our guests are assigned the rooms they paid for or they are upgraded as much as possible, as was the case for you.
