  We have visited Paris multiple times and stayed at hotels on both Banks. By far, this was our nicest hotel experience. The Hotel Napoleon has a superb location with friendly, professional staff and well appointed rooms which are surprisingly quiet given its location steps from the Arc de Triomphe. Our junior suite had beautiful old world French decor and a large bathroom with separate tub and shower. We look forward to returning.   If you are looking for a high-level experience in Paris without the stiff, condescending ego that often accompanies it, look no further than Hotel Napoleon. It is a well-appointed, impeccably clean, five-star environment that manages to feel warm rather than fussy.The "Hidden" 24-Hour Hero: The Four-Cheese PizzaThe standout feature of this hotel is something they don’t even widely advertise: true 24-hour room service. In a post-pandemic world where most hotels have scrapped late-night dining, finding a meal at 2:00 AM is a godsend. I only discovered it by pointing my phone at the QR code on a room service advertisement by the bed.While the late-night menu is limited, the quality is "beyond the beyond." Specifically, the Four-Cheese Pizza is a revelation. It features a perfect brick-oven crust that bests almost anything I’ve had in New York City, but with a sophisticated French twist: it includes Brie. Having Brie on a pizza is absolutely extraordinary and elevates the entire dish. I wouldn't have thought it would work, but it was absolutely incredible. Pro Tip: This pizza is exclusive to the 24-hour room service menu; you can't even get it during the day. If you stay here, you have to try it. Also, if they don’t pick up the room service line immediately, just keep trying or call the front desk—the staff is more than happy to help, they apparently just aren’t used to people knowing this "secret" service exists!Service That Doesn't Ask Permission to HelpThe service here isn't just "good"; it is genuinely caring. It reminds me of a hardware store I know in a small town where, instead of asking if you "need" help with your 50lb bag of birdseed (an offer you’re going to decline out of pride), the nice young man just scoops it off the counter and throws it over his shoulder; his only question is whether you are parked in front or out back. At the Napoleon, they don't just point you toward the elevators; they walk around the desk and escort you there. I witnessed a bartender respond to a just-arrived guest's request for a coke that she could take to her room by putting the coke and a glass of ice on a tray and then have a server accompany her to the room with it -- just to be nice. They don't aloofly offer you service in the hope you'll refuse; instead they just provide it out of an authentic desire for you to be happy.Smart, Practical DesignWe stayed in a third-floor Avenue Suite. While "suite" sizes in Paris are notoriously smaller than what you’d find in a city like Dallas, this was very comfortable and incredibly well-designed.Tech-Friendly: They have finally solved the outlet problem. There are plenty of plugs for chargers and computers.The "Froid/Chaud" Factor: The thermostat actually works and switches seamlessly between hot and cold on your command.The Mini-Bar: It’s stocked only with water and the like, leaving you plenty of room to store your own items. If you want a cocktail or a Diet Coke at 3 AM, that's what the 24-hour service is for.The Basics: Fast, modern elevators; high-pressure showers with never-ending hot water; and a very quiet atmosphere despite the prime location.Location and VibeBeing steps from the Arc de Triomphe is a major plus—Ubers rarely take more than sixty seconds to arrive. You are right across from one of the most famous cafes in Paris, and the hotel’s own patio is a fantastic spot for people-watching. The Etoile metro station is steps away, giving you ready access to the whole system.Interestingly, the restaurant and bar seem to be a local favorite; at lunch, it’s filled with Parisians in upscale business attire, which is always a good sign that a hotel isn't just a "tourist trap."Final ThoughtsEverything at Hotel Napoleon works so smoothly that you almost don't notice it—which is exactly how a luxury stay should be.   My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Napoléon and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our Paris weekend getaway.From the moment we arrived, every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. A special thank you to Meenakshi at the front desk for making us feel so welcome throughout our stay.Our corner room was absolutely beautiful, with spectacular views that made the whole experience even more memorable.
