    Unsatisfactory. Non-existent conditioning.

    rating14 Jul 2025

Everything was good, except the complete lack of air-conditioning in our 5th floor room at the onset of our 5 night stay. We spent the check in night in blazing heat, wrote a message via Booking.com message, requesting another room or we would seek a relocation / refund. The next morning we were offered another room, if we could check out and leave our bags. We were on our way to catch a train to our tour, and could not do so. That night we were given a portable fan. The next morning we checked out and when we returned we moved into a room on the 4th floor. No air-conditioning again. I asked the desk clerk to come check the room to verify that everything was turned on and working. He came up and said he was sorry, but the owner was in the process of correcting the old building's air-conditioning. We were given a fan for the remaining days, and as the temperature had dropped, we slept with the windows open and the fan on all night. Once you are in Paris, it's too late to change. Check my other ratings, I have nearly always given 10 out of 10 ratings in our prior trips to Europe.I didn't see many negative reviews, and marked it up to outliers. If the ambient temperature is satisfactory for you to sleep in, then risk it if you choose. At least you can open a window, although without air-conditioning the humidity may be uncomfortable regardless of the temperature. hotel Nude, Propriétaire at Hotel Nude Paris, responded to this review Dear Richard,Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review. We’re truly sorry for the discomfort you experienced due to the lack of air-conditioning during your stay. We understand how important a cool and restful night is, especially after a long day exploring Paris. We’re currently going through a change in management, and improving both the level of care we provide and the comfort of our rooms is at the heart of our priorities. We’re happy to share that the air-conditioning is now fully operational across the hotel, and we’re working closely with our team to ensure smoother communication and better responsiveness moving forward.Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, it helps us identify where we fell short and motivates us to do better. Thank you again for your honesty and for giving us the opportunity to improve.Warm regards,Sara - La Réception

Boring location, cheaply run, no A/C

    rating22 Jun 2025

The air conditioning system was not working when we arrived on Thursday the 19th of June. It took until Sunday Morning, June 22 to fix. We were lied to continually about the status of the air conditioning system. When we checked in, we were told that it had only been out for a couple of hours which turned out not to be true, according to other guests we talked to it had been out for days prior of the time we arrived. We were told that the system would be up and running by evening, which it was not. We were only told this so we didn’t leave, but we had no choice to stay since we had prepaid for the hotel. We were constantly told that it would be only a few hours before it was repaired only to find out that that again was a lie. We were offered no compensation for the fact that for over half of our stay, there was no air conditioning. Ok, one of the staff bought us a beer.Location is a dead zone in the 14th, you need to walk several blocks to get to an interesting restaurant or good boulangerie, only bars on the block. Felt like the staff didnt like their job, not sure how they were treated by the boss. Whole place felt like they were trying to get by as cheaply as possible, only one towel per person in the room, pretty threadbare. Room was not serviced on one of the days we stayed.Breakfast area was the best thing about the hotel but there wasn’t much to look at out the windows. hotel Nude, Propriétaire at Hotel Nude Paris, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry for the many issues you experienced during your stay — especially the air conditioning breakdown, the misleading communication about the repairs, and the lack of proper service in the room. Your frustration is completely understandable, especially given the summer heat.Since your visit, the hotel has undergone a change in management, with a new team now in place. We are committed to restoring the level of care and service our guests deserve. Technical improvements are currently underway, along with better staff training, improved room amenities, and more transparent communication.Your comments are invaluable in helping us move forward, and we truly hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you back under much better circumstances.Warm regards,Lys - La Réception

    Never to visit

    rating19 Jun 2025

Good location but nothing more. Management absolutely disgusting taking our money and not even telling us the cooling was broken a week before our stay. Management did not notify us of this issue at any point prior to our check in or offer any resolution of alternative accommodation or even a fan!!!! We got a cold bottle of water to be stored in our hot room in the rooms warm fridge. Don’t waste your time and money!!. Other patrons actually sleeping in the foyer/ restaurant area as the rooms were over 35 degrees! Totally disgusting hotel Nude, Propriétaire at Hotel Nude Paris, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for sharing your experience, even if we’re truly sorry to read how disappointing and frustrating your stay was. The lack of communication prior to your arrival about the broken cooling system — and the absence of any alternative solution — was clearly unacceptable.Since your visit, the hotel has undergone a complete change in management, and a new team is now in place. Technical upgrades have already begun, and we are also working hard to build a more honest, caring, and guest-focused environment. We sincerely regret the experience you had and hope that, one day, you might give the new team a chance to show that change is truly happening.Warm regards,Lys – La Réception

    Nice place

    rating11 May 2025

Nice room, good location, tasty french food. Everything was good. Room was clean everyday. The location was really good, everywhere was close. Small elevator, if you arrive with a lager suitcase only one person will fit, byt it is not inconvenient hotel Nude, Propriétaire at Hotel Nude Paris, responded to this review Bonjour!Thank you so much for your kind feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your room, the location, and the tasty French food 🥐✨ You're absolutely right about the elevator — it’s a bit small, but still handy when needed 😉We hope to welcome you back again very soon!Warm regards,Lys – La Réception

Don't consider this hotel when in Paris! To be avoided!

    rating22 Apr 2025

The location is pretty much the only good thing about this hotel. Very accessible to metro/train/RER as well as many restaurants and sights. Rooms on the top floor were hot because AC was not working well (and outside temperatures were only in the low 70s Fahrenheit when we stayed there). Facilities truly need a facelift!Beside that, we booked 2 superior rooms with city views and were given 2 classic rooms. They ended up switching one room for us after the first night. When we asked for a refund of the difference in rate for the other room they gave us the runaround saying that the manager had to handle it but she was not working weekend. Needless to say there was no way to reach them once we checked out. Their dishonesty and abysmal customer service make this hotel a place to avoid! Never never let them steer you to Room 06 (the one on the ground floor behind the front desk) even if they brag about bigger bathroom and noise-insulated thick door! Better yet, avoid this hotel altogether!!! hotel Nude, Propriétaire at Hotel Nude Paris, responded to this review Hello,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry for the discomfort you encountered, particularly with the air conditioning and the issue regarding the room type and refund. This situation clearly did not meet your expectations, and we understand your frustration. Please note that since your stay, the hotel has come under new ownership, and we are currently reviewing all procedures and technical issues to ensure a much better experience moving forward. The team is committed to making real improvements and addressing the concerns that have been raised. We hope that in time, you'll be able to see the changes taking place.Warm regards,Lys – La Réception
