  I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Orchidee in Paris and can wholeheartedly recommend it. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff are exceptional — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism is matched by a warmth that makes you feel more like a valued guest than just a hotel customer. Whether it was answering questions, offering local tips, or helping with small requests, everything was handled with care and efficiency.A special and heartfelt thank you to Antonio. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail stood out from the very first interaction. Antonio goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and at home, and his positive energy and sense of humor are a real asset to the hotel. It’s rare to meet someone who takes such pride in ensuring guests have the best possible experience.The hotel and the room are clean.The location is extremely convenient, with everything one might need — super market, cafés, restaurants, shops, and public transport — all within easy walking distance. The area is actually very nice, and it is far from noise. If I ever get to move to Paris, I would like to leave there or nearby.   Very clean comfortable hotel.

  The hotel was easy to find walking from montparnasse station. The hotel staff were pleasant, but I was disappointed that they didn't seem interested in us, the customers. On entering and leaving the hotel, the majority of the staff didn't even look up to acknowledge who had walked in or out. To me, it is important to make contact with the customers, even with a smile. That alone would have secured a second visit from us when in the area. As it is, I will be looking for a different hotel when we visit again. Having said that, the rooms although quite basic, were exceptionally clean. The cleaners do an amazing job. The bedding and towels were clean and good quality. Bathroom well appointed and spotless. The tea, coffee and biscuits in the room, replenished daily, was very welcomed. My criteria for choosing a hotel is, cleanliness rating, price, location, a kettle or coffee machine and other people's reviews. This hotel didn't disappoint, but a bit of interaction from the staff, could have made my rating an excellent rather than a good.

  Hotel Orchidee made our stay in Paris unforgettable

  We spent 5 nights at Hotel Orchidee and we have nothing bad to say about our stay. We had booked 2 rooms and they were both very clean and spacious. The staff was amazing, very helpful and smiley. We didn't have breakfast as I am a fan of 'la boulangerie' and I wanted to try as many as I could. The neighbourhood was also very nice with lots of places to eat or have a coffee nearby. We loved our stay and we'll recommend it to our friends.

  Charm outweighed by lukewarm showers

  Hotel Orchidee had some positive points, but also some fatal flaws.The pros:Location is convenient to Gare Montparnasse and Pernety metro station. The garden view rooms are very quiet.The decor of the room and the public spaces was very tastefully done.The cons:For the entirety of our four night stay, there was no hand soap provided to wash one's hands at the bathroom sink. When I asked front desk staff for a piece of soap, they informed me that it was "out of stock".Every night, the shower was barely lukewarm.I regret therefore that I cannot recommend Hotel Orchidee.   Fab Chique Boutique Hotel.

  We are leaving Hotel Orchidee today having had a lovely few days here in Paris.The location is a three minute walk from the metro but is still located in a tranquil quiet atea of Paris.Saying that a couple of minutes walk and you have everything close to you.Great bars,cafes restaurants etc.All staff ate so friendly. Our room was very comfortable and cleaned to perfection every day.The staff at reception are so kind to give directions to all the visitor attractions of Paris.We stayed in room 604 and it was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the terrace garden.The shower had two power heads to choose from and the bed was so comfy. We did not try the breakfast but had good reports from other guests.This hotel is a hidden gem and we will definitely be returning for another stay here hopefully in the near future.A visit to L'ERNEST (cafe,restaurant, bar) is a must!!You WILL NOT be disappointed with their price of food and drinks .Thank you so much to all the staff ( including cleaning staff) for such a wonderful stay.Trevor & Paula Mc Namara Marine OMONT, Directeur général at Hotel Orchidee, responded to this review Hello :) Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review!
