    Boring

    rating07 Apr 2026

Came here for Easter break, booked through Expedia. When we arrived we asked how to get to the pool and was told pool gym and spa all closed. There was nothing on Expedia to say this was closed , we were told it’s on our website but let’s be honest who books a hotel through another website then checks the hotel main page ? This should have been stated on Expedia! Price of our stay did not reflect the closure. Reception not very friendly at all and didn’t tell us where breakfast wasThe lifts are a disaster we got stuck and when we pressed bell it just rang out then when someone finally answered they didn’t speak English and hung up, we had to bang on the lift doors for help. The pillows are the worst pillows I’ve ever slept on in my life, totally falling apart and the headboards on the beds had lamps on them right at your head which was just bizarre. Pull out sofa bed dipped badly in the middleThis hotel is very boring if you have children, there is nothing at all for them to do I would choose elsewhere

Relaxing Weekend away from the city

    rating24 Jan 2026

We booked this hotel via IHG for a weekend stay and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with easy access from the airport. We particularly enjoyed the spa and the restaurant. It’s ideal for a relaxing break away from the city while still being close to many facilities and shops. The food was divine — highlights included the pumpkin soup, duck breast, and crème brûlée. We also loved having an aperitif at the lobby bar next to the fireplace, which created a very cozy atmosphere. We learned that the hotel will soon be refurbished and are already looking forward to visiting again once the refurbishment is completed.

    Few Issues But Generally Ok.

    rating12 Jan 2026

Ok so negatives first on this one.The heating in the room was stuck at 23.9° constantly, which is fine when there's a foot of snow outside but not when the weather is mild. We told reception 4 times but nothing was ever done, so had to sleep with window wide open. On the 4th complaint they sent an 'engineer' up to the room who twiddled the knob and said there was a problem and would "be back in 20 minutes" He never returned at all and the problem persisted. The shower was useless and just dribbled out. Again we told reception who sent someone who adjusted the taps. We returned back from Disneyland to find the room all steamed up and the shower running hot water and we were unable to turn the tap off!Plus the shower head is 60cm off the floor with no option to put it above you. Reception offer no money exchange at all stating that they stopped it during 'Covid'.The 'A la Cartè' restaurant appears to be microwave meals due to prep time.If you are staying at the Hotel you have to pay €20 a day parking if you've traveled by car (Disabled are Free). If you want an extra pillow it's a No.....they allocate 2 pillows per person. We needed an extra one as my wife sleeps semi sat up because of a health issue. We were told point blank No!The bedside lights are screwed to the headboard next to your head and regular got bashed in the night. Whoever put them there clearly hasn't slept in the beds!If you are disabled and want to use the Free Shuttle Bus, unless you can get up and walk on your in trouble. Our wheelchair user had to be physically lifted in and out the bus. If you're in a powerchair or Scooter it's a No. They claim that they didn't have a lift, but you could see it in the floor painted yellow. Either broke of lazy? The Positives....The hotel is in a great position not far from Disney, it spotlessly clean throughout. The staff are pleasant and even humored my poor French. Bar area is great with a log fire. The bar prices aren't that bad and they offer table service too.The bedrooms are spacious and well set out. The price was amazing considering it was the week before Christmas compared to the Disney hotels that were triple the price. Overall a pleasant stay even with the negatives.7/10 overall.

    Great trip

    rating06 Jan 2026

I really don’t understand all of the negative reviews! We have just got back after a 3 night stay and it was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, the communal areas very clean and welcoming. Lovely bar area with a small selection of nice food. Swimming pool was great, really clean and very warm. Great selection at breakfast. Small amount of mould around the bath in our room but nothing that would really bother us. The only thing I would say is guests should be advised that the room card is needed for the lift as we were not told and could not understand why we were stuck in the lift. The shuttle bus worked well for us. Was on time in both directions. Would be good if it arrived at the park slightly earlier but Ubers are reasonable if you wanted to do that as an option.

    Awful do not stay

    rating05 Jan 2026

Do not stay at this hotel. The rooms were filthy and had bugs. We were also wrongly charged an extra €370, which was eventually refunded, but if you’re traveling on a budget this could have left us with no money. I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else. The reception staff clearly did not care. Other guests had no heating despite temperatures being -4°C. There was no manager on site to speak to, even though we were told there would be. Staff were rude and openly said they didn’t want to talk to us. There was rubbish left in the hallway, and although we were given an email address to complain, our emails were ignored. Save your money and stay at Dream Castle instead — it’s far better.
