    Disappointing stay

    Arrived for the Retromobile car show, excellent proximity to the venue, nice clean room everything seemed perfect, but after returning to freshen up before going for Dinner we noticed my husbands Cartier Aftershave was not longer in our room after the room had been cleaned…of course no had seen it! Also wouldn’t recommend paying for breakfast after one mouthful of a croissant that tasted like mould we ate out in the local restaurants for the rest of our stay. If you just want a clean bed it’s great, but don’t leave anything of any value in your room.

    Hotel Paris VaugirardParisDO NOT STAY HERE973004380You’re wasting your money if you stay here.Very unprofessional staff, property is NOT clean and NOT safe.The front desk staff did not properly communicate to me in a timely manner regarding moving rooms due to a change in my reservation, therefore, Robert Djelili urgently emailed me in the middle of a tour I was on (which was an hour away) stating to return to the hotel immediately to pack my things to change rooms. I was unable to return until the evening after the tour (which I mentioned in my reply). So, the staff came in and cleaned my room for the new guest and then, left my room door wide open and unattended, exposing all my belongings the entire day - propping my room door open with a bunched up bath towel.The room they booked me into was unfinished and under construction - with gaping holes where vents should be. Large holes were found in the room, light bulbs were dead and needing replacement. Grout had mold growth around the tub.I woke up with bug bites all over and when I showed my bites on my arm to the two front desk staff, they mentioned it was due to mosquitoes getting into my room (probably due to the gaping holes). No one apologized for this or any of it, by the way.Rooms did not have a working safe. Either no batteries or just 2 of 4 were installed in the safes of my rooms so they were ineffective. I wouldn’t trust this property to safely keep anything anyway.The front desk staff were unprofessional - everyone was always on their phones either talking, watching a video, on a video call, scrolling or texting, in addition to eating. I stood there waiting for a front desk agent to swallow her bite before I could check out. And even then, she took her time to check me out. I asked for hangers and they never arrived. The staff was always distracted and not putting guests first.After staying in a number of hotels in Paris and Europe, this property is the worst one in terms of value for your money, safety, professionalism and amenities. Stay somewhere else!DO NOT STAY HERE. Fast food and restaurants in the area is good.     Good value for money, exactly what I was looking for. My mum would have liked coffee in the room, but that was. Good excuse to fetch it outside. Really good location, and even tho is far away from the airport, you are ina. Good location for the Eiffel tower.
