Nice hotel in a great location

    rating07 Apr 2026

Great location, close to metro stations and in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms were very nice, clean, and well decorated. The air conditioning didn't work in one of our rooms, but it was fine with the window open. The breakfast was good and the service was very attentive. The lift was very tiny, so it was a bit tricky going up and down with a pram, but manageable. Gabriel Petcou, Directeur général at Hotel Pulitzer Paris, responded to this review Hello,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our central location, the surrounding neighborhood, and found your room clean, and comfortable. It’s also wonderful to know that you appreciated our breakfast buffet and the attentive service from our team.We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused in one of your rooms. Please rest assured that we are looking into every issue to ensure it is properly resolved. We also appreciate your understanding regarding the size of the lift, especially with a pram.We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future.Kind regards,Estelle FerryRooms ManagerHotel Pulitzer Paris

    First Time Stayer

    rating04 Mar 2026

Overall the hotel is a good stay especially if you are a solo traveler. The room was clean and well designed to maximize the space. The only real let down I had during my stay was the customer service. I had read previously before my stay reviews of people boasting about the staff especially someone named Maria (whom wasn’t there). The staff was nice but they are just missing a more welcoming, go out of their way, accommodating experience one would expect when traveling. I even recall another guest asking for a tea bag to make tea in her room and they denied it because it was 11pm. Just little things like this could make a big difference. The location is good if you are looking for something a little bit out of the touristy zones but yet accessible with a 20 min walk. The food was also good at the hotel. It’s nice to be able to have additional food items besides breakfast available throughout the day/night if needed. Overall it was a nice and safe stay in Paris. But nothing to rave about. If you are looking for an exceptional or memorable experience I’d look elsewhere. Gabriel Petcou, Directeur général at Hotel Pulitzer Paris, responded to this review Dear Tamara,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback following your stay with us.We’re pleased to hear that you found the room clean, well designed, and suitable for solo travel, and that you enjoyed the food offerings as well as our central location. Our team is consistently committed to providing a friendly, attentive, and helpful service to all our guests. While Maria was not present during your stay, the rest of our team remains fully available and dedicated to ensuring a warm and welcoming experience at all times. We regret if this was not consistently felt during your stay.Regarding your note about the tea request, our bar remains open until 11:30pm daily, during which we are happy to serve tea as part of our service. While we do not sell tea bags separately, we are always glad to prepare and serve tea upon request within our service hours. We understand how small gestures can make a meaningful difference, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We’re grateful for your balanced feedback and will continue to reflect on it as we aim to deliver a more memorable experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.Warm regards,Estelle FerryRooms ManagerHotel Pulitzer Paris

    Nice boutique hotel

    rating29 Dec 2025

I came here with my girlfriend for a romantic long weekend in Paris. The hotel was exactly what we wanted. The room was very tastefully designed. My girlfriend wants me to highlight the hotel's scent and said that it smelled nice. Breakfast was good, the pastries were very nice and my girlfriend loved the variety of bread. The hot chocolate was proper thick hot chocolate, which was incredible. I did feel that the egg dishes were a little small on the portion size and a bit inconsistent - one morning I ordered bacon, which was brittle due to excessive chargrilling, but the next morning, my girlfriend's bacon came perfectly cooked. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive. I must also praise their patience in tolerating my awful French. The location is amazing, 5 minute walk from multiple Metro lines, 10 minutes from l'Opéra and Galleries Lafayette, and a 20 minute walk from the Gare du Nord. I would definitely use this hotel for future trips. Gabriel Petcou, Directeur général at Hotel Pulitzer Paris, responded to this review Hello,Thank you very much for your lovely review and for choosing our hotel for your romantic weekend in Paris. We’re delighted to hear that your stay matched what you were hoping for. We’re especially pleased that you enjoyed the room design, our signature scent (your girlfriend has great taste!), and the breakfast selection. We appreciate you pointing this out, as consistency is important to us, and your comments will be shared with our team. We’re also very glad to hear that our team made you feel welcome and supported, and rest assured, your French was appreciated just as much as the effort. Mostly comfortable stay…

    rating20 Dec 2025

This cozy hotel is situated perfectly and breakfast in the morning is excellent along with the entire staff.Unfortunately, they have a patio adjacent to the f and b space where they allow smoking and vaping, and of course both infiltrate the f and b space as well as the hotel lobby, and a few times my guest room on the second floor.Since every objective research study has shown that when a property( hotel, restaurant or bar) goes totally smoke and vapor free that business/revenue increases as does staff morale and health, I am hopeful they will reconsider their policy. In the interim, they should not promote themselves as smoke free or a non smoking hotel. Gabriel Petcou, Directeur général at Hotel Pulitzer Paris, responded to this review Hello,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your kind words regarding our location in the heart of Paris, our breakfast buffet, and our attentive team are truly appreciated. We are, however, sorry to learn about your concerns regarding smoking. We would like to clarify that our hotel is a strictly non-smoking property in all indoor areas, including the lobby, restaurant, and guest rooms. The patio is an outdoor space, and smoking is permitted there in accordance with local regulations. That said, the patio door is always kept closed after use to prevent any disturbance inside. We have not noticed any smoke affecting our interior spaces, and our lobby features a signature fragrance that is frequently complimented by our guests. Additionally, the room you stayed in faces the street and has no physical connection to the patio area. We sincerely regret if you experienced any discomfort and will ensure that this matter receives our close attention.Thank you again for sharing your perspective, as it helps us remain attentive to all aspects of guest comfort. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.Warm regards,Estelle FerryRooms ManagerHotel Pulitzer Paris

    Should be 5*

    rating14 Nov 2025

We normally look for 5* hotels but was given the HP as a great hotel as a 4*. Situated just 15 mins walk to galleria Lafayette and just 5 mins to the metro, it is a central position and nice area of the city. Roadside it does not make you realise how lovely it is inside. From the moment you enter through the doors, you are hit with their own air conditioning aroma, beautifully and tastefully decorated front reception through to all the communal areas, along with really friendly and helpful staff, Arnaud and all the team. There is a restaurant/ bar called Le Patio. Nice varied menu inc tapas. You can sit and eat/ drink or just sit with your laptop. Chilled vibe. The bedrooms are spread over five floors I think. We had a signature city view room and a suite. Having stayed in Paris before you expect the rooms to be quite small. These seemed a really nice size and the suite had that bit of extra space and a non alcoholic free mini bar. Beds very comfortable possibly tempur mattresses and pillows. Great size showers and huge bath in the suite. Two tiny issues was that our plug in the sink didn’t stay down so you couldn’t have a sink full of water and the taps to the shower in the other bedroom were at the end of the bath, with a stuck in bath screen, which meant you had to get in the bath to turn the taps on for the shower thus getting a splurge of cold water. Minor issues. Breakfast was a small but well stocked buffet and then you could choose an eggs dish with sides in addition. The servers were always friendly but there was some confusion and delay on our second morning regarding payment/ ordering which could have been handled better rather than not taking our order as had happened the day before. In the evening the food was lovely. A great server, didn’t get his name sorry, but really friendly and helpful. All in all this hotel is a great 4* but should be a 5*. My small issues I have noted are minor and should not detract from choosing this hotel. We will definitely come back to HP when we next come to Paris and will tell many others about it. To top everything, the way the hotel is presented and the helpfulness of the staff make this hotel. Enjoy Gabriel Petcou, Directeur général at Hotel Pulitzer Paris, responded to this review Dear Richard,Thank you so much, what an incredible review!
