This charming hotel lies at the heart of the French capital, directly beside the Louvre and close to the Tuileries métro station. The Gare Du Nord train station lies some 5 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1898. The hotel has 120 rooms, including 19 suites and 50 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine, projector and photocopier is available. Larger events can be organised with the help of the conference service. 4 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, a gym, a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam. Children are well looked after in the kids' club.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. For lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    Great stay at the Hotel Regina in Paris

    Excellent hotel and the location is superb. Reason for less than 5 stars is the lack of a place to sit in the room. There was a desk chair but otherwise had to sit on the bed. While sitting on the bed it would tend to slide away from the wall. Morning breakfast and service was the best.

    This was my second visit at the Regina. The space is beautiful and so was our suite. It seems like nothing is too much to ask. The entire staff is at your service around the clock

    Not a 5 star experience despite excellent location

    We stayed at Hotel Regina Louvre expecting a 5 star experience, but several key areas fell below that standard. While the location is excellent and the building itself is impressive, operational standards across service, housekeeping, room comfort, and breakfast did not reflect a 5 star level.
Service throughout the hotel was consistently poor and unwelcoming. When issues were raised during the stay, there was limited acknowledgement or follow up and often no visible resolution. This was consistent throughout the stay rather than an isolated incident.
The room was not maintained to a 5 star standard. On arrival, tea and coffee supplies were poor and insufficient for the number of guests and were not replenished despite requests. Cups were not provided in sufficient quantity. Used glasses left in the room were not cleared or replaced. Turndown service was not provided on 2 nights of the stay. There was also ongoing building work near the room, resulting in regular afternoon noise over multiple days.
The beds were uncomfortable, particularly the sofa bed. Air conditioning was ineffective, leaving the room feeling consistently warm and stuffy. Water pressure throughout the bathroom was poor. These issues persisted throughout the stay.
Breakfast, which was included in the booking, was disappointing. Service was slow, at times unfriendly and disorganised, with incorrect or incomplete orders on multiple mornings. Several standard items such as porridge and eggs Benedict were only available at an additional charge. Each morning, other guests could also be heard raising similar service concerns.The issues experienced were not isolated incidents but repeated throughout the stay across multiple areas of the hotel. This affected the overall experience significantly despite the strong location.Guests expecting a genuine 5 star experience in central Paris should be aware that the level of service and attention to detail did not reflect that standard.This review reflects our experience over several nights rather than a single incident.

    Fantastic family stay!

    We just returned from a five night stay at Hotel Regina and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it - the location cannot be beat and the staff is incredibly kind. The family suite was a great home base for our family of four with bunk beds for our two boys, a living room space, and a separate bedroom for the parents, but best of all were the four(!) balconies with views of the Tuileries Gardens, Musee D’Orsay, and the twinkling Eiffel Tower. Watching our kids enjoy the views at night from the balcony was magic.While this is not a modern hotel and the rooms have some wear we enjoyed the historic charm and feeling we were truly in Paris and not just a generic box!
