    A larger room than some budget choices

    This is a basic, but modern and comfortable hotel a few blocks from Place d'Clichy, a lively area with two Metro lines and bus connections. Our "Superior" room was compact but not uncomfortably small (bigger than other Paris hotel rooms in which we have stayed). There was no closet, but a shelving unit with hangers. The bath fixtures were modern and the shower even had a door! The staff were friendly and English-speaking. There was no coffee maker or refrigerator in the room, but there was a Nespresso machine in the lobby. (The hotel has two buildings and only the main one has coffee, I think.) A good budget choice.

    My wife an I stayed here for a long weekend in September. There were no problems during my stay and we left happy. Hotel Rendez-Vous Batignolles is a no frills hotel. It provides you a clean place to sleep and shower. IThe temp was in the low 80s when we stayed, the AC had no problem keeping the room cool. The shower had excellent water pressure and the show had plenty of hot water. There is not a ton of horizontal surfaces to put stuff around the room, so you need to keep your belongings in a suitcase. A luggage rack was provided for one suitcase. The bathroom had enough surface for both of our products and tooth brush. Note that there are 2 entrances on the same street, about 50 feet apart from each other. The breakfast is in the basement of the main building. It was not an issue for us, but if you might be irritated if its pouring raining and you have to leave the 2nd building , walk outside and go to the main building to eat breakfast. We were on the second floor. There is an elevator, but it was easier to use the spiral stairs. Finally we arrived around 10:30am, our room was ready so the front allows us to check in early. Thanks!

    Decent location close to Clichy metro to get where you need to go and walkable to montmartre. That’s the 2 stars. Location is good.. It looks chic but this hotel is the reason why people choose air BnB. There is no service let alone customer service. We are here now and have not had the room cleaned in 4 days. With no reason. We came back late today after a long day of walking to our room which once again had not been cleaned. I ended up seeing stacks of towels and sheets in the lobby and had yo grab my own linens to change the bed myself and grab new towels. Sure first world problem. But again I believe travellers choose hotels largely for these types of services. Also you need to bring hair conditioner. They don’t supply it. I would also highly recommend skipping the attic floor 5. Be prepared to knock your head several times on the large beams that run across the sloped roof. Unfortunately we feel that we didn’t receive the service we paid for and so would not recommend staying here considering there are two other similar hotels just down the street.

    By Paris standards this was your typical 3 star hotel. It was centrally located near Montmarte and very near lots of restaurants bars and decent coffee. Thee room was small but certainly adequate for a short stay. I did not expect much more, however I do recommend going up beyond a superior is space is an issue for you. The staff at reception were polite and kind as we had a late check in. There is an elevator and great lounge coffee area with fantastic wifi. My only complaint would be that the towels were tiny and well worn. Otherwise, it is a great hotel for a visit to Paris.

    Staff were really rude, noone greeted us everytime we walked past reception. Female and male workers would laugh at us when we’d walk past. Room was very small wouldn’t reccomended. Staff hardly spoke english and started an argument due to miscommunication.
