We had a fabulous time.the hotel is cheap and cheerful and clean. they pillows weren’t the most comfortable. but the rest of the place was fabulous for money. The best bit was the bar tender he really puts love into making his cocktails and drinks he was a lovely man. Really nice down to earth Man.

    Bad

    rating10 Apr 2026

I went with a big group (30+) and we stayed over a couple rooms for 4 days, 3 nights. From me and my roommates perspective the rooms were HORRIBLE!!! We stayed in room 625 (on the 6th floor) and it was horrible… firstly the bathroom was vey, very, VERY small, It was almost like an airplane bathroom just more disgusting… the shower was so small you could BARELY fit in it (baring in mind I’m not big at all) and the water was ice cold and at first I thought I had the tap the wrong way but when I turned it the other way it was still cold and I kept changing which way the tap was and leaving it for 5 minutes each way to see if it would heat up AT ALL but it didn’t so in the end I HAD to shower in freezing cold water but it was entirely not worth it because I only stayed in there for a minute max because of how cold I got -throughout our stay in was so unbearable and unpleasant to shower in it-. The room didn’t have any soap in it which was not said that we had to bring any in the description so we had to use hand sanitizer as a substitute which is no better at all. The room was TINY TINY!!! Since we stayed in a three person room (1 bunk bed and 1 single room) we had literally no space AT ALL I slept on the single bed and since we had 4 suitcases then there was NO space to put them because we had to consistently open them to get clothes or other items out because there was no space to unpack without getting your stuff mixed up or stolen by the maid. Following on with that on the first day we let the maid go in but in another room one of my friends got some of her valuable stuff stolen (£30+) by the maid so after that we put the do not disturb sign up. Our room didn’t properly lock along with other rooms, although they give you key cards for your room you don’t really need them because unless you SLAM your door shut they DONT lock which is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and makes you feel completely insecure and worried all day when you leave your room forcing me to hide my big valuables under clothes, beds. Evolving that problem outside the hotel it is very sketchy -with people and location- and outside our window there was CONSTANTLY (every 2-3 minutes) a police car/ sirens going by which kept us up all night. The breakfast was alright but the pain au chocolat was soggy along with the croissant's and the sausages tasted like hotdog ones aka not breakfast sausages which ruined breakfast the best thing there was probably the hot chocolates. Finally the pictures + description are completely different to what it actually is and I have been reading other reviews and the common denominator between all the reviews is that people are either not getting there money back and the rooms being disgustingly/ overall bad which I relate to as for my review.

Disrespectful receptionist ( it was the boss )

    rating12 Mar 2026

Very bad experience. I stayed at this hotel during a school trip and it was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced. The rooms were extremely small and uncomfortable, and the bathroom was even smaller, almost like a tiny cabin. The cleanliness was poor and the room did not feel properly cleaned.Another very concerning issue was the windows. The window handles were broken and it looked like they had been intentionally damaged. There was also a metal bar placed behind the windows so they could not be opened at all, which made the room feel uncomfortable and poorly ventilated.During the night some students lost their room key card and went to the reception to ask for help so they could enter their room. Instead of helping them, the person at the reception – who said he was the owner – refused to assist and started arguing with them. He also told the students that they did not have the right to sit in the reception area or even sleep there while waiting. He also said that they did not have the right to speak or complain, which was extremely disrespectful. As students on a school trip, the situation should have been handled with professionalism and understanding. Instead, the behavior of the reception staff was rude and unacceptable.Because of the extremely small rooms, poor cleanliness, blocked windows, and the very unfriendly and disrespectful behavior of the reception staff, I would strongly not recommend staying at this hotel.

    A disappointing exeprience

    rating28 Feb 2026

Our experience at this hotel, where I stayed with a school group, was extremely disappointing due to several serious issues.Upon our arrival late in the evening, the hotel was without electricity and hot water. We were forced to climb the stairs in complete darkness with our luggage in order to reach our rooms. There was also no possibility to charge our mobile phones, which were almost all out of battery after a long day of travel. The reception staff was rather unfriendly, insensitive, and cold, showing little concern for the situation. This problem lasted for several hours, until around 5 a.m., when the electricity was finally restored.Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. A couple of days later, a notice at the reception desk and in the elevator announced another power outage, which luckily lasted only a short time. However, the warning sign remained displayed until our departure, so we do not know how the situation evolved afterward.Another issue occurred on a different evening, when we returned after a full day out to find that many of our rooms had no hot water. When we contacted the staff, we were simply told that we would have to wait about an hour for it to be restored.Overall, this experience fell far below acceptable standards, especially considering that we were traveling with a group of students.
