  Very bad experience. Went there with my family. Checked out one hour after arrival because the beds weren’t clean, shower cabinet was also to small. Service was also bad. The man was not acting professional on our complaints. DON’T GO TO THE ROYAL BERGERE HOTEL

  Good budget hotel that could do with some updating.

  The triple room we had was reasonably large and for the area well priced.The room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet with no street noise. Beds were comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good.The down side is that the decoration is tired and dated. The bathroom was small and grouting between some of the tiles was mouldy.We did not have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. The reception team were always helpful.

  Great Location - Good Economy Hotel

  It is what it is a 3 star hotel in Paris. But that's not all. The location makes it better than that.The room we stayed was a double and the bed very comfy. It was clean, snug but manageable. The staff were very helpful - even the night porter.....The real magic is the location. 5 mins from 2 metro lines (which are amazingly easy to navigate) 10 mins from Gare de l'Est and the big shops. The Louvre and Place de Concord are a 20 min walk or 5 on the metro. Locally there are a host of lovely restaurants, cafes, patisseries and bars that mean you don't need to travel very far if you don't want to. And being off the main routes, the costs were sensible as well.So if you are on a budget and want to experience a bit of real Paris - this is a good recommendation.

  They steal your money and refuse the refund you

  So I booked this hotel via hotels.com which I highly recommend not doing where it clearly states that the hotel is fully refundable and you can reserve now and pay later, before confirming my booking I double checked all of this and that is what it very clearly states this booking is fully refundable up until the 20/09/22 and nowhere is there any mention of any deposit being taken from my card and that if I was to cancel after said date there would be a charge and that there would also be a charge for no show which was all fine with me so I went ahead and booked.The next morning I wake up to find out I'm in my overdraft and upon checking the hotel has taken it upon themselves to charge me near enough £150 with NO consent, NO authorisation, and NO prior warning or confirmation of doing so which is theft.I didn't cancel or change my booking so the excuse of it being a mistake is out of the question, I've been back and forward with hotels.com multiple times informing me that this may have been taken as a deposit which there is no mention of during the booking process they also called the hotel for me at 11am (hotels local time) for them to tell them they are shut for the day I was then told to contact the hotel myself to deal with it and to which I was told the money is on hold in case I do not show up or cancel late, this is mentioned nowhere on the website while booking, during this time an agent from hotel.com escalates this dispute and the next day I receive an email stating the manager of the hotel is refusing to authorise a refund as they have a strict cancelation policy and will not waive the fee! WHAT FEE? This booking is supposed to be fully refundable.After a strongly word email to hotel.com reminding them of what the booking states and of their own T&C they have agreed I am right and should not have been charged this money and will continue to dispute this for me.I really don't know who this hotel thinks they are and what gives them the right to take money from my account but I refuse to give my hard earned money to thieves and Crookes that can't abide by the rules they have set out and would highly recommend finding elsewhere to stay, they seem like the kind of nightmarish hotel to make up damage charges.

  Great location and good price, friendly and helpful staff, best deal my and my girlfriend could find and we both liked it very much, evertything you need is in a walking distance and the metro is also no more than five minutes away, if you are on a budget this is the place to be
