Excellent stay Hotel very well run by charming people Very clean room with very good bedding, very well equipped bathroom Perfect and generous breakfastThe calm of the Varenne close to the RER ideal for a stay in Paris When I see some reviews I think we should not talk about the same hotel Do not hesitate I recommend you 2nd stay in this charming place.Thanks for the welcome we received there Originally submitted in French on www.tripadvisor.fr. Way too expensive for what you get!

We stayed with my husband for 3 nights to be as close as possible to family members living in the area. We booked initially a superior but then upgraded again because the room was very bad. We ended up paying 150€ a night for a room with windows broken (we couldn’t close the bathroom window after opening it), we had no hot water for 2 days (1 evening and next and final morning). Decoration is ugly and very very old, very poor condition overall. No plugs nowhere we even had one of the bedside table light not plugged in because there was no plug. We were woken up by the maid on the first morning because there is not even signs to indicate you are in your room...And when we checked I it we complained about the hot water and the hotel response was « no other client complained »! What a shameful response.So in a nutshell:- poor condition- no measure whatsoever regarding extra cleaning due to Covid- service is awful- it s way too expensive for what it is like by far!- this place is a sh*t hole and does not deserve 3 starsDon’t book go somewhere else or book an apartment this does not deserve to welcome guests!

A group of us stayed here on a long weekend trip to Paris. When we arrived, we were shown to our suite which was a bit too small for three of us. We asked the lady at the reception if we could get a bigger room and she was more than happy to help and put us in another room just outside the hotel. It was like a small apartment. We loved it and we had a courtyard right outside. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on the food. Overall, we had a really nice stay. The staff were very helpful. As I speak next to no French, the lady was still very helpful although her English was limited. Also a nice area to stay. Was much nicer than central Paris. Also due to unforeseen circumstances we had to stay another night in Paris and we stayed at the same hotel. Again, service and room were both very good for the price.

A horrible service!the reception Closed during the day on sundays? A group of 25 people waited for a 1 hour! That shows no respects for the clients! Rooms without conditions!!! Some rooms without electricity to watch tv! The shower curtain was to small for the shower!!!Badly cleaned... Lack off respect for the needs of the guests. Really Poor breakfast, without fruit and diverse kinds of bread os cakes! Altougth the reserve, there wasn't anyone to open the door! Pay before the stay? Total desrespect for the nerds/Requeste of the guests! Bathrooms without place to put towels... At the reception there isn't anyone qualified to answer our question about touristic places! The dust in the bedroom make me hill! For a 3 star hotel, there aren't services that should have at these kind of hotel! Should be closed and inspectioned!

Well... if you don't speak french it is almost impossible to have any kind of conversation with the staff they speak just french! Rooms are simple but clean. Internet in rooms doesn't work properly.Nice and quiet location restaurant walking distance. At 8 PM hotel reception closes and if you arrive later you have to arrange check in in advance.Very good breakfast!
