    Lovely gem of a hotel

    All of the hotel team were extremely helpful, warm and friendly.The hotel is in a perfect location with a short walk to the centre of the village.Easy off road parking at the hotel, within secure gates.Rooms were clean, a good size with original features.Definitely recommend this hotel.

    Our stay was very pleasant from arrival until departure. The hotel and grounds are well maintained and clean, the location being perfect for all amenities in the town. The staff in particular are worthy of note; they were all very pleasant and helpful in dealing with any request. Highly recommended.

    Personnel behavior not at 3 stars level

    Repeated non professionnal behavior from personnel:- start of breakfast indicated at 7:00 instead of 8:30,- orange pressing machine not functional: “manage yourself” before noticing no power was available in the room,- explanations systematically interrupted by personnel before concluding “you dont know how to talk”- raging behavior at check out “you will not be able to stop me”

    Our deluxe room was in the annex, which has 4 rooms. The room and bathroom were both very large. There was a bath, no shower, which was disappointing.The room was tastefully decorated and there is a pretty sitting area out back.The room was too warm, even though it was 15 degrees outside. The room is right on top of a cobblestone side street which may be noisy during the week. There was no Wifi in the room. The person showing us the room said that Wifi in Montfort is not strong. However, the Wifi 3 meters from our door was quite good. The real problem is that the hotel needs to install extender/booster equipment so the signal can reach the entire room.

    I had a room with terrasse My car was in the inside closed parkingThe bed was very confortableThe breakfast was delicious - machines for fresh orange juice and differents coffees / fresh nutsbread (yummy) - 2 different cake - also outside breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
