This pleasant hotel lies near the Place de la République and the Saint Martin canal, just minutes away from countless shopping and entertainment venues. The city's beautiful tourist attractions are easily explored with use of the local public transport, and the nearest stop is around 100 m away. Montmartre is just 800 m from the hotel and Châtelet Les Halles train station is just 1 km away, while the opera house is around 2 km away. Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports are between 25 and 30 km away from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1850. 5 single rooms and 26 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Soft - a birthday trip for me from my husband. Our room was clean and comfortable and was made up every day to the same high standard. Air conditioning was available as was a tv although we didn’t avail ourselves of either. The breakfast was delicious and there was always plenty of choice. In particular, the two gentlemen who were on reception, Ahmed and Toufik, were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Finally this was a new arrondisement to us and we loved the buzzy and vibrant area, with plenty of choice for restaurants and bars and evening saunters by the canal. We used buses to get around and it was so easy. Highly recommended.     Great hotel for Paris

    Great hotel and a short walk from the Gard de Nord. Staff at reception were great and gave us lots of helpful advice. Room was cleaned every day and nice and clean (we stayed for 4 nights)Breakfast, plenty to choose from, breads, meats, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt I could go on. All very tasty. If you are happy to walk, easy to walk to the canal and we walked to Notre Dame. Had the late Eurostar back and left our luggage there after checking out for the day.     Hotel was exactly what we needed for a 2 night stay in Paris. Close to metro lines such as Gare Du Nord. Staff were friendly on reception. Breakfast was pretty standard - cereals, bread, pastries, meat, cheeses, eggs, sausages, hot drinks and juice. Room was pretty clean and there was a kettle and mini fridge/cooler.
