Very basic hotel but no major issues.Location is good, nice quiet street not too far from various restaurants, cafes, shops etc.Hotel was clean enough, double bed with a private bathroom.Heating was on which was very much needed in mid December.Would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room.Wasn't keen on having to leave our hotel key with reception when we went out, but as I didn't bring anything of value I just let this go without complaining.For what we needed, it was fine but next time I'll look for a more upgraded hotel in a similar location.

Dirty and uncleaned rooms for that kind of price. Despite the weather on Paris , rooms were very cold with no air conditioner. The host was rude and nobody can speak English so we could only understand them with their hand gestures.

Filthy, unpleasant, disgusting. These are just three of the words I can use to describe this horrible place. The foyer isn't too bad, but wait until you reach one of the bedrooms. Dirty toilet; mouldy shower; cigarette holes in the bed cover; carpet so revolting you hesitate to walk on it barefoot. Ugh!

Beware: For a cheaper price, you are jepordizing your health. The shower had black and pink molds and grime on the tiles that I could easily wipe off with a tissue. The long pillow roll is covered with a clean sheet, but if you remove the sheet the pillow is stained and even appeared to have dried blood spots. The carpet is also soiled so don’t walk with your bare feet. This hotel is close to Montparnasse, but the location is not worth it.

The place is perhaps a bit dated, but that didn't bother me in the least. For the price and location, it is a real gem. Right in the heart of Montparnasse, within walking distance to more crepes than a person can handle, and easily accessible by Metro. The staff were very friendly and remembered my face and room number. The only thing I might caution is that there is a steep staircase to get up to the rooms that might be troublesome for those with mobility issues. All in all, a great stay.
