    Secret Spot: Hotel Verneuil in Paris!

    We have stayed at this hotel four or five times. Such a gem. The staff is incredible and their welcoming and help is so refreshing in Paris. The rooms are perfect sized and the windows looking out such a classic Parisian vibe. The location of this place is next to everything but in a quiet street. I highly recommended it. Ten stars on everything. Special note for the delicious breakfast served underground in a renovated beautifully lit cave.

    The wifi works every couple minutes, very unreliably. Walls are so thin -- we never heard silence or anything remotely close to it. We heard our neighbors' conversations and the sex they had -- VERY hard to fall asleep. Good location and comfortable bed though.

    Fantastic service. From the time we entered to the time we left the service was fantastic and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the hotel was conveniently located. Paul was excellent as well as the manager with white hair. We got excellent recommendations from the staff for dinner. Would recommend this place to stay!! Thank you for a wonderful stay

    We have just stayed here for 1 night, on our way travelling through France. The lady on reception was wearing a face mask. We did not find this welcoming. If she needed to wear a mask, I would suggest another colleague should be on reception. During our check-in, she answered the telephone and spend many minutes dealing with a query regarding availability. We were tired and wanted to just go to our room. I know these boutique hotels in Paris are small, we have stayed in a few others, but the en-suite was particularly small. We requested a room facing the road, which we got. However, we had to move furniture in order to open the window.The room was very clean. Our towels were changed, which we did not requested as we were only staying over 1 night.The bedding was good. The road is quiet, which is a bonus in St. Germain

    A jewel of a hotel in the Left Bank

    This was a return visit to this hotel and we loved our stay for the second time. The location is ideal, on the left bank near the rue du Bac, rue du Université, the antique shop and art galleries. The staff are really friendly and helpful (ordering taxis, bringing tea), the salon is ideal to meet friends, wait for taxis, enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The rooms, though small like many in Paris, are wonderfully kitted out and efficiently arranged. I am sure the hotel will become even more popular, particuarly as it is sited just by the recently opened Maison Gainsbourg, and deservedly so.
