  Great location for this nice little hotel

  The hotel is not fancy but the location can't be beat. One block from the river Seine and above the subway. Breakfast was a nice addition but I think you could get breakfast at a few locations close by so I might not add that next time. Staff was super friendly and room was good. We really did not need anything more. would recommend for sure.   Rooms way too small. No drawers have to live out of suitcase. No shelves in bathroom. Don’t spend your money. The breakfast is ok.   This is a great place to stay, very close to everything! Metro at 1 min, RER at 5 min, taxi in the corner, so location is great. A lot of restaurants aroud, dhoping neer by. The breakfast was great as a continental breakfast, a lot mire alternatives than other hotels with the same claime. Staff is very nice. I was in room 43, in the attic, very spacious for a hotel room in Paris.   I am always askance at reviews from reviewers who have only reviewed one or a few places (many of the recent reviews here are that). Having said that, I wanted to review KORNER CHATELET. I came here years ago when it was the Hotel VICTORIA CHATELET. I see in places it is still called that online, but know that there are new owners of which I did not realize when I booked it. Thus I was surprised to find it is now the KORNER CHATELET. Do do not expect it to be like how you recall if you visited here under prior ownership. Alas, I fear it has lost some of its charm that I recall. It was never upscale but was clean and yes, had boutique character and good staff. Now under Korner ownership, I still found the staff generally helpful albeit ...most very good. I found it clean but a bit more chain like in decor. Sadly there is no coffee nor kettle in the room so one has to go downstairs in the morning and the staff will inquire if coffee or breakfast. I never actually had breakfast when there so can not comment on that. I did ask for a quiet room and I definitely got that of which I greatly appreciate even if it sacrificed a window view. So over all, I found it fine as it is a bit more affordable in price relative to the fact it is very central in location..which by the way, the location is great.   I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely kind and always available to help, which I really appreciated.The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Paris.My room was simple and small, but very clean and felt new. The only thing I slightly missed were some amenities in the room, but overall everything was great.I’ve already recommended this hotel to some friends.
