  Coldest, most stripped down hotel room ever.

  I have stayed in many Ibis Hotels before this. Clean, cheap, fairly comfortable. This one was the low point of my trip, though. It was raining and 9 degrees out, but no heat inside. There was a vent of outside air coming into the shower, so too cold to even take clothes off. No kettle for tea, nothing. Staff at the desk were nice enough, but when I asked for a cup of hot water, he gave me warm tap water in a wax cup. Awful! Cannot recommend this one.

  The worst hotel ive ever stayed in

  I genuinely cant believe i paid over £200 per night for thisThe room was prison like; comprising of a rough metal bed, sponge mattress and very small room to manoeuvre around of it. The bathroom sink was in the room, the walk in shower opened into the main room where a bedside table would be and the toilet was in a small cupboard. I have never experienced a bathroom split between 3 areas especially not one where you have absolute zero privacy. There was no iron or hairdryer - there was 1 available at reception where you have to leave your passport as deposit. It looked as if it was built 100 years ago and the cracks papered over. It was hard to find and in a terrible location with hostile locals.   Look this is a budget hotel so that is what you get. Staff were helpful, spoke English if that is important to you. Rooms were basic but it’s a budget hotel. They were clean which is important. The car park could be better signposted as we had to park on the street, which wasn’t easy, to ask at the hotel were the car park was. It is before you reach the hotel entrance on the main road, but parked cars partially blocked it. Overall a good experience and worth the budget price we paid.   I booked 2 rooms for 14 nights starting from August 31st, 2021 for my family. Early in August 2021 when our family travel itinerary changed, I cancelled the reservation. Since then I have sent several emails to the hotel requesting for refund. The hotel has neither acknowledged nor responded to my emails. In 2021! you have an organization that does not respond to official emails. I have called the contact phone number of the hotel on several occasions, the call never goes through. This is a new low in customer services. if I do not get my refund as soon as possible, I will be left with no choice but to escalate to the Authorities that I have been scammed by the hotel.   Located in a dodgy part of town, window either opens all the way or not at all and if opened the traffic noise is terrible. They could not book a taxi for me the next morning but the crowning moment was when they knocked on the door but then tried to come in before I answered the door-they needed to check electrics. I travel quite a bit and this the first I had prepaid the room for two nightsbut could not face staying the second night.
