    Budget Hotel for a Base

    rating14 Nov 2024

Very basic accommodation. Room we where in had 1 double bed, 1 plastic chair at a shelf. No bathroo(m, a single cubicle for a shower with glass screen. Next to it was a wash hand basin, in the bedroom. Toilet was behind a separate door. So after using toilet you had to wash your hands in the bedroom. TV, no English channels and kept searching for signal. Our view was over the train lines which you could hear the trains go past. (white noise to me) the window did not open as no handle on it. Hotel outside City Centre. Although it was clean and was OK for a base to get washed and put your head down. Bed was comfortable after alot of walking. (duvet cover looked a bit old, off white) Beside a Mcds and close to bus stop No 58 into City Centre. Breakfast room self service, reminded me of a school canteen. No such thing as cereal bowls, you have to use a glass for your fruit or cereal. Continental breakfast only.

    Total rip off

    rating14 Jun 2024

Probably the worst hotel I can recall...spartan...but never a buget.. at 160+ was more expenive than serious hotels in the centre...total rip off...above macdonalds which seems classy by comparison...plus they charged for water and breakfast as extras

Cheap for central Paris - dangerous bunk beds

    rating30 May 2024

We stayed one nigh here, the plus side is that it is very economical, but rooms also very small and facilities are limited. Our biggest concern was the bunk beds located over the main beds they are very low and my son (in another room) injured his head when sitting up suddenly ( and he is not very tall). In my opinion this arrangement is hazardous. Breakfast limited but ok

    Handy for Expo and Peripherique

    rating07 May 2024

Short walk to the metro and about 15 minutes walk to the expo centre. Onsite parking limited but handy if you can get in (pay on arrival at reception). Rooms are typical Ibis Budget - simple, clean and a view over the railway if you get a room at the back. McDonalds next door BUT not open for breakfast! No in room coffee.

    Good budget hotel

    rating19 Jul 2023

A good budget hotel. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The lady who does the breakfast (available in the lobby for an extra cost) works very hard to make sure that everything is just right for her customers. The front desk quickly went out of their way to help get an extra towel and soap when we needed them. Small room - reminds me of a cruise ship room. But well designed, clean and friendly. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but great for budget travelers. This location was also very convenient to the metro (10 minute walk) and bus station (right across the street). It did take a little travel time to get to tourist sites, but the price was good and offset the travel time.
