    Exactly what we needed

    Exactly what we needed. We booked this hotel for the convenience and proximity to the airport. We couldn’t believe just how close it was! It took us less than 5 mins to get from the hotel to the check in desks on the free shuttle/train.The hotel itself is lovely, you have a couple of restaurants within it and we went to the Grill place and had an all you can eat buffet for €25pp and you had a selection of duck, chicken, fish, lamb stew etc, cold meats, salad, cheeses, desserts etc a real good selection for the price. There is an Italian restaurant as well and a Starbucks coffee place within the hotel.The room itself was perfect, comfy bed and would recommend it if going to/from the airport. I have to give a special mention the staff members. Cut a long story short, we were from England, flying from France to Bali without needing a hotel as we were coming out of the Le Shuttle and going straight to the airport. Our flight got changed to the next day so I had to book a last minute hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 1am and understandably they couldn’t check us in but they did their best and managed to get us in a room at 830am. Our flights were all cancelled in the end but I would recommend this hotel

    Just for one night. And only one... A few steps from T1 in CDG airport. The good news are that Ibis management replaced front desk personnel with robots so check-in is now automated. These androids look as real people even at short distance...No more complains about unfriendly welcoming. Ibis and customers benefit each other..

    Small, cramped, dated rooms - would choose somewhere else

    I only stayed for a night before an early flight but it was not worth the price. Long check in lines, it shouldn't take that long to check in. Other hotels do online check in and give you a digital key to avoid all of that. The lobby and ground floor is where the money has been spent. Rooms are dated, and very small. Bathrooms are old, very cramped and not pleasant. Room was stuffy as the air conditioning was not working. Easier to get to since it is close to the train station but I would pay more to stay elsewhere.

    Just what you need for a night beside the airport

    On the eve of a flight home from Paris after a couple of weeks in Europe, all you really need is a bed and a bathroom to get ready for the next day. This place does the job. In room 1028, you can’t count on the water pressure being good enough for a shower, but at least you can wash your face and brush your teeth before you check out. Downstairs, there’s a really good bar and a couple of nice restaurants, and the people at reception are really friendly and professional.Oh, and the view of the airport from the window of our room was actually breath-taking.

    Outrageous long check in experience

    We arrived at 10pm to be confronted with a queue of perhaps 200 people waiting to check in snaking all the way around the reception and to the side of the bar area. There were initially 3 people checking in guests, though very slowly i might add. After about 30 minutes, two of the individuals disappeared into the back office leaving one person to deal with the *hundreds* of people waiting to check in. We finally got to check in AFTER midnight. When we finally got to our room, it was very basic. We would never go back and would always chose another hotel at CDG. Awful.
