  Weekend couples stay.

  Recently stayed here during a two day trip to Paris for Valentine's weekend. We arrived early (around 12pm) and although check in is usually not until 2pm, the room was ready. Coming off a very early flight from Dublin, it was great to be able to relax and freshen up before heading out again. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the young man at reception when we arrived but he was so lovely and welcoming. The property itself was clean, warm and quiet throughout. The reception area was small with what looked like a bar area that was used in the morning for breakfast. There is a small lift but would only fit one person with luggage at a time. Our room, 605, was on the top floor and we could see the very top of the Eiffel Tower in the distance! It was at the back of the hotel so we were not affected by any street noise but coming in at night there was no traffic so I can't imagine rooms at the front having any issue. The room itself was compact with a double bed, small table and chair beside it, an alcove with hanging space and a TV on the wall. The bathroom, again, was clean and well stocked with towels, etc. The only thing I would say is the shower is on the smaller side so does mean hitting the shower doors and temperature handle a couple of times!! We had forgotten an adapter but got one from reception with no issue. I did see they had a list of amenitities - some for a small fee.Breakfast - we only had breakfast on the morning we were leaving. From what I saw it was just some cereals and yoghurts, pastries, cold meats, juices and tea/coffee that was available. We had an early bus to the airport booked so didn't get a chance to sit and enjoy it but the pastries we did get on the way out were fresh and soft!Location wise - the hotel was only roughly 5-7 minute walk from the train/metro station. It took a train and a metro to get to the city centre (approx 40 minutes depending on where you are going). The area around the hotel was lovely with some bakeries, restaurants and shops all along the streets to the station.All in all, I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Paris and would book again!   Extremely helpful and gentle staff. They offered me a free welcome drink. Clean rooms. Nice breakfast. Quiet in a safe neighborhood outside Paris. It’s high time you put safe boxes in the rooms.   Great value for money, good rooms, small shower. Good breakfast, fair coffee. Great, helpful staff. Short bus ride from the centre, close to a nice riviera walk.   Ibis Style is one up from Ibis budget (never again) so had low expectations… Turns out, the staff are lovely, there are comfortable beds and a decent breakfast (fresh squeezed orange) to prepare you for 20,000 steps around Paris. Merci beaucoup! We’ll be back…

  Good but let down by the beds

  Arrival at the hotel was good and welcoming. Quick check in, although the system would not allow me to pay for the second room - this was sorted in the morning when the actual receptionist was on duty. Breakfast was ok given that it was a 3 star hotel. We were not around all day to enjoy the free coffee & tea (only available until 6pm). Rooms were small but comfortable. My daughter was bitten by bed bugs on the second night. WHen we cam eback hoe the rash on the hands got worse, eventually leading to the doctor saying that we need to apply the lotion in order to get rid of the scabies. These bugs got transferred to our home (probably by placing the bags on the beds) and fortunately we were able to catch it in the early stages before the infestation started on our home beds. This is the reason for the low rating.The sheets on my daughter's bed (sofa bed actually) were not replaced after the first night by the house staff - although the other 2 beds in the room hsd theirs replaced!The hotel is in a quiet place - i did not hear any early morning noise!
