    nice hotel

    rating24 Apr 2025

it was a very clean hotel and everything was small and tidy. the room was small as I expected from Paris. the location was very good it was 1 minute from metro station and there were full of restaurants around it. the colleague were very nice and helpful. the last day our check out was at 5 Am and they prepared the breakfast for us at that time. if I go to Paris again I will stay in this hotel again.

    Another Parisian gem!

    rating04 Apr 2024

After my stay at the Ibis Styles Paris Gare Saint Lazare, I went off to Germany with coworkers for Cloudfest; upon my return I ended up staying here. Again, I ended up searching based on knowing the Accor brands and price - this hotel is definitely off the beaten track as far as tourists go, but it was a real gem.I was greeted at check in by a friendly gentleman in glasses (whose name I never caught throughout the stay alas) and was informed I was staying in a ground floor room. I was worried about this initially, as the ground floor rooms are near the breakfast area but fortunately, there was a door before a little vestibule before my room (number 2) and its neighbour (room 1) which helped keep the noise at bay. I did have some noise issues the first night from people talking in a neighbouring building, however discovered the following morning that the window had been open all night! Once I closed it the noise issues never presented themselves again. This room appears to have been done up very recently, with a very fresh look along with a nice sized TV, access to local TV and what I assume were pay TV channels, a nice sized bathroom, the typical comfortable Ibis Styles bed, and a small desk and chair. Interestingly, this room had no bedside tables - instead it had low shelves along the walls that you could use for the same purpose. There were sufficient power points in the room along with USB-A ports for charging, however I found that these were not particularly fast charging ports. The room had a fairly new Daikin split system air conditioner that was quiet and did a good job, unfortunately this was locked to heat so if you wanted to cool the room you were out of luck. Also, it wasn't entirely clear how to turn it on - I ended up figuring out that there is a small button along the top edge of the controller towards the right side, press this and it will turn on; press it again and it turns off; you can then use the three touch buttons under the screen to control it.The same combination hand soapody washshampoo that was at my previous Ibis Styles was here, weirdly in this shower it was sat on the floor, there didn't appear to be a holder for it. (Not such an issue was it was a sizable shower, so it wasn't getting in the way.)Breakfast was nice here each day - a touchscreen coffee machine would produce a variety of coffee drinks, a selection of loose-leaf teas you could bag yourself were available (with a great variety of choices available!), assorted breads and spreads, croissants, cheese, crepes, cereals and juice were all available, and the staff were bustling to keep everything topped up and fresh. This hotel is located in a brilliant location - the Laumiere metro station is literally a minute walk away (and has an escalator exit), and within five minutes' walk there several supermarkets, several bakeries, at least three pharmacies, a couple of laundromats as well as plenty of restaurants of varying cuisines - the nearby Caballito does great empanadas! The hotel was also happy to keep hold of my bags for the day once I checked out (my flight home left at 9pm so wouldn't be leaving for the airport until around 4:30pm).I was really impressed with this hotel and it's another one I'll happily stay at in the future when my travels bring me back to Paris again!

Nice little hotel off the beaten track in a truly Parisian neighbourhood

    rating27 May 2023

Nice little hotel in the 19th arrondissement next to the best park in Paris Les Buttes Chaumont, off the beaten track in a very much a local Parisian neighbourhood but with great connections everywhere- Gare du Nord only three stops away.Rooms are small but comfortable and nice, bathroom also small but with a small bath tube. Excellent breakfast included in the price and friendly staff. The only slight disappointment was that the Accor members’ free drink is soft drink only and only for one person - but this seems to be the case in all Ibis hotels…

Paris this the place with out costing you a fortune

    rating17 May 2023

If you require a economical hotel to stay during your visit to Paris this is the one. OK it a little out from the city centre but take the metro (which by the way is less than 20 metres from the door of the hotel) and your fifteen minutes in the center that's included a change. The area is what I imagined a Paris area to be. Full of restaurant, bars, bakeries and greenery lovely park round the corner. And more importantly safe. The Hotel spotless, staff more than gracious and courtesies, all spoke English which made it easier, but made me embarrassed of my French. Breakfast though continental was plentiful and pleasant.

    Metro and Park nearby

    rating30 May 2022

Typical Ibis Styles Hotel in a nice area. Laumiere Metro is a few steps from the hotel and the lovely park Butte Chaumont is a 5 minute walk away. The reception, breakfast room and lift are all on the ground floor (from older reviews they used to be on the 1st floor). Lift is tiny, but modern. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the foyer 24/7. Room was small, but typical for Paris with comfy bed, modern air-con and new shower/toilet room. Excellent buffet breakfast and helpful friendly staff. I'd definitely stay here again.
