  Rooms were very clean. Location of the hotel is near the metro station and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Would recommend.I would like to give special praise to Madame Tanja for her kindness and the excellent breakfast she prepared every morning. Her warm and friendly attitude made our stay even more enjoyable.I also want to thank Nabel at the reception for his helpful assistance during check-in and for his great recommendations of places to visit in Paris. Both of them truly enhanced our experience at the hotel.

  Beautiful little hotel, approx. 5 - 10 mins walk from the Gare de Lyon station and supermarket easy to find. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants near by and it's a lovely area to stay whilst still be able to visit the main tourist attractions. We walked to the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame, approx an 8 mile round trip and saw so many wonderful things, the walk along the river is just beautiful and there are cafes you can stop at, plus plenty of free water stations along the main roads and river walkThe hotel is small but clean, with very friendly helpful staff who speak English. The rooms are small, as is standard for Paris, but it was clean, comfortable and had free shower gel etc. which was appreciated. The lift is tiny, again as is standard for Paris, but all floors are easily accessible by the stairs. Breakfast selection is good, my daughter and I had no issues choosing. There was bread, Jams, spreads, pancakes, cheese, ham, cereals, eggs, yoghurt fruit and more,plus freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee. The receptionist were very friendly, recommend places to go such as Snaffles,a lovely Japanese cafe that does delicious cakes and matches and a crepe takeaway called Crepe 71. We had cheese & chicken and it was amazing, plus only €12 for two. We didn't use the bus or train, instead chose to walk everywhere to fully experience and see Paris We did get a taxi to/from the airport and it's fixed rate at €56 each way. I would happily stay in this hotel again and would recommend it.

  Couldn’t rate this hotel more highly. Went on a little solo travel few days on the Eurostar and the hotel is clean the staff are very kind and accommodating, the breakfast is great, it’s about 8 minutes from Gare de Lyon which is 2 stops from Gard du Nord - what more could you ask for?! Paris is just great. Every morning the staff were greeting me with bright faces and tolerating my dismal French. Many of the staff have great English and those who don’t are patient and generous with my incompetence 😂. This morning one asked me how I was and I said tired but was checking out that morning and he offered to push back my check out by an hour. For nothing. Just to make my life better! It was also about £100 less than other similar hotels. The room was pretty big and I had a terrace! Opposite is an exceptional crêperie and it’s a short walk to Bastille where you can keep going through La Marais if you fancy. The Plantee walk thing is moments away also and is beautiful and relaxing. Will definitely go again!

  It was good, but a few issues.

  We’ve stayed in this hotel many times before. It’s a 5min walk from Gare du Lyon. We like the decor and the vibe. Good bars and restaurants nearby. This time we found the bathrooms looking a little tired sadly. Check in staff lovely but they didn’t mention that breakfast was no longer included. We had a v early flight so just grabbed a juice and a pastry, we were then charged 15euro each as we left. The man who checked us out was a little grumpy. There was a lovely selection for breakfast it’s just a shame we didn’t have time to enjoy it. Such a shame as this has been our fav hotel in Paris for years! Supermarket 2min walk from the hotel where you can buy beers, wine, snacks etc.

  We tried again the next day and they said we should have spare bedding in our room in a cupboard, we told them we don’t have any cupboards in our room. There is no storage. They said they would see what they could do. We came back around 9/10pm to our room and found that it was unlocked and the door was open. When we went into the room the lock was left on the door to keep it open (pictured). The room had all our valuables in (passports, jewellery, cash, cards etc) and had been left open all day by I’m guessing housekeeping? Despite being told reception was 24/7 there was nobody there to tell. The breakfast was okay, the coffee machine was awful and tasted so weak. There were other guests touching the bread and not using a cloth to cut it. The bathroom had a sewage smell when the water turned on. The only good thing about this hotel is the location but I would not stay here again for that reason and I would not recommend to anyone to stay here. It’s incredibly expensive for what it is.
